Slaying The Spire

I've been playing slay the spire for quite a bit recently, and it's a TON of fun. I didn't realize how many hours I could sink into this.

It's so easy to get sucked into the game. The concept of the game is very simple, it's a roguelite where you need to climb the spire, building a deck that gets better as you ascend the tower, and don't die. Once you die you start from 0.

The runs last about an hour, which is perfect, long enough that I can play it when I want a longer session, but short enough that they end quick and I don't need to think about it forever. I also love that I can drop the game, and come back to it, see where on the map I am, what relics I have and my deck and be able to quickly play again with the same strategy.

IT ALSO DOESN'T NEED INTERNET SO I COULD PLAY IT WHEN MY INTERNET WAS OUT!!!

I've been mostly playing as The Defeat, loving the orbs concept. So much fun.

I've been ascending with it now and I've made it to level 7, which is pretty nice, with the highest ascension level being 20. I don't think I'll be getting there anytime soon.

Anyone else been slaying the spire? It's such a fun game to play and I recommend it for someone looking for something to pick up and play.

Did you finish Click heroes? :D

Bunch of merc related quests left and 2 non merc ones. It's gonna take me a LONG time to finish them. I'm play STS for fun, not to complete it's quests(can't be doing that for all games).

Burying 100 merch is crazy achievements xD
It takes sooo long yes!

I'm more worried about reviving 100, that's expensive in rubies unless I put $$$ into the game which I'm not willing to do.

wow. 87 hours spent on any game is a lot. According to my PS logs I have only played 3 games that long since I guess 10 years ago or so.

I do leave it running when I'm working and such so the hours are higher than what it truly is.
