I've always felt my resistance to dark consumerism is a rebellion. I'm not sure things are shifting - amongst our friends perhaps, in small circles, but the behemoth of cheap goods is gargantuan, to borrow some monstrous words to denote the mass of waste we are dealing with on earth. A godzilla. Sometimes the only way I think we can change is if governments MANDATE it. Finally we are starting to see nams on single use plastics here and there. If we can't buy shit, maybe quality can make a comeback. But then, how will anyone afford it?
