Do you agree with the duplicity of artistic content in nTOPAZ?

This question is very controversial, and the truth is that I thought a lot (up to a whole day) to dare to ask this public question. As a few know, I'm a curator of a community. And I feel that one of my duties is to update myself regarding the regulations of each one of the dapps that arise in the blockchain steem.

I have observed how some people complain that there are people who misuse dapps, such as steempress (publish a post in different languages) everything to get more profit, but this is really wrong, should not be done.

As curator I share the idea that you can be bilingual and make a post in steempress and the same post in another language without having to use some other dapp, just use steemit.

Well, this is something that goes to everyone's discretion, what I can advise is that the @steempress team should make an announcement about their rules, so that the communities that have their trail, are clear about what they should vote or not.

But anyway, this is not the problem of the question.

Some time ago I saw an uproarious conversation of some curators complaining about the votes to art publications published since the dapp nTOPAZ, that caught my attention a lot but I didn't investigate further.

This week I learned that on this platform artists can publish existing content in steemit that does not have much time to publish. This really alarmed me a lot, so I researched, and indeed there is a large percentage of users who are publishing their post on dtube or another dapp without changing anything at all, in the same language and everything on the nTOPAZ platform.

Knowing this, the question is very simple to answer. So with all the respect we all deserve, I'd like to know what you think.

PS: I'm not going to show evidence of duplicate publications to avoid damaging the image of some user, this is for the purpose of knowing only their opinion.

I understand what you are saying. I have to unfollow multiple users for this. They are uploading the art video on dtube, steps of art on nTOPAZ and final work on steemit and something like this. I have seen many users who used to upload same content or image on Tasteem and trips.teem.
As a reader it's very frustrating to see the same thing over and over again.
There should be some rules on this as more dapps are coming.

As a reader and users it is frustrating that users who do this are carrying double the credit. Knowing that there are other artists that all their content is original and unique, they do not require the use of duplicity to feel satisfied with the remuneration of their work, and even if they do not manage to feel satisfied they do not engage in this abuse.

Here there is a lack of education among curators, who create their own rules for their benefits and do not see the damage they do to the steem ecosystem.

I'm not sure I followed your post well and I am not familiar with nTopaz. But I can say with confidence that publishing ones own work on multiple platforms―whether in translation or the original language is not plagiarism.

The New Oxford American Dictionary gives this definition of plagiarism
the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own. Wikipedia also explains the concept well. It's the wrongful appropriation of another author's work and passing that of as ones own.

I've added emphasis to a key element of plagiarism above. You cannot plagiarize from yourself. Moreover it is common for authors , performers―artists of all sorts―to publish work in multiple places and be rewarded in each instance.

You concept is also correct. But as a reader we have to see the same content over and over again on different platform. That's also frustrating.

You're right that we can place our content on different platforms, but not when it comes to steemit. Since the dapps are connected to the steem ecosystem, and the curators are part of that ecosystem, that is, we are all prone to give value to a content that has already been valued, that is called theft and abuse, it is as if you are contracted to provide a service and want to charge twice for the same and only work done.
