Sony revealed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for June 2026 & my first reaction was a little mixed because at a glance the selection didn't have a blockbuster title that instantly grabbed everyone's attention. After looking at the games I see some value. There is quite a bit.
So for June PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 and Warhammer 40,000 Darktide, and, EA Sports FC 26 remains available until June 16 for subscribers who have not claimed it yet.
Today I want to share my thoughts on this month's lineup also whether I think it's worth getting excited about.

Grounded is the game I'm most interested in from this lineup.
Imagine being shrunk to the size of an ant and forced to survive in your own backyard, where insects become giant monsters as well as ordinary objects become massive structures. It sounds simple, but the concept works well.
Grounded combines survival mechanics, exploration, crafting, and, base building into an experience, and you can play solo or team up with friends, which makes it fun.
Iโve always enjoyed survival games, Grounded stands out because it flips the usual zombie or alien stuff, it turns a backyard into something creepy and, full of secrets.
The Fully Yoked Edition includes many updates and improvements added over time, making it the complete version of the game.

I won't lie.
This is the game that generated the least excitement for me.
Sony included it for a reason.
Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 is a platform fighting game featuring characters from popular Nickelodeon shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jimmy Neutron, Squidward, and many others.
Games like this are great for local multiplayer sessions with friends and family.
So not every PS Plus game needs to be a massive AAA adventure, but it can be nice to have something light hearted that you can jump into for 20 or 30 minutes.
I probably would have preferred a different kind of action RPG or story driven game.
Younger players & Nickelodeon fans will probably enjoy this one.

The biggest surprise for me was Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
I've always been interested in the Warhammer universe, but I've never fully jumped into it because there are so many games, books, and, stories connected to the franchise.
Darktide seems like a great opportunity to finally give it a chance.
So you've got this four player co op game where players fight through massive hordes of enemies using melee weapons and firearms, and, it comes from the same developers who created the Vermintide games, which have a strong reputation among co op fans.
One thing I liked from the gameplay footage I have seen is the atmosphere.
Everything looks dark, gritty, and chaotic, the environments feel oppressive, , the enemy hordes look genuinely overwhelming, kinda like it wont let up.
So many players online seemed excited about Darktide with some calling it the highlight of the month also others describing it as a faster and more intense version of Left 4 Dead.

Another bonus this month is that EA Sports FC 26 remains available until June 16 for subscribers who have not claimed it yet.
Even though football games aren't everyone's favorite, FC 26 is still a major title available through the service.
This gives you another chance to add it to your library.

Overall, I would give the June 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup a solid 7.5/10.
It doesnโt have the biggest headlining game ever, but it has something for all types of players.
Survival fans get Grounded.
Fighting game fans receive Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2.
Co op action fans play Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
EA FC 26 is still available for a limited time.
Grounded is the standout title and the main reason I'm excited this month, with Darktide a close second, and Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 is just a fun bonus to mess around with when friends are over.
It is not a notable PS Plus month, but it is a good one.
