The Bastei Bridge

Hello everyone!

I would like to invite you again to the Elbe Mountains in the south-eastern part of Germany, near the border with the Czech Republic. In one of the previous posts I presented photos of interesting rock formations Bastei. In this post, I decided to focus more on the bridge, which attracts tourists and photographers.

Witam wszystkich!

Ponownie zapraszam Was do Gór Połabskich w południowo-wschodniej części Niemiec przy granicy z Czechami. W jednym z poprzednich postów prezentowałem zdjęcia znajdujących się tutaj ciekawych formacji skalnych Bastei. W tym poście postanowiłem bardziej skupić się na moście, który przyciąga turystów i fotografów.

The current bridge was built in the mid-19th century, it is located 40 meters above the gorge and its length is approximately 76 meters.

Obecny most powstał w połowie XIX wieku, znajduje się 40 metrów nad wąwozem, a jego długość wynosi ok 76 metrów.

There are numerous viewpoints halfway across the bridge and on the rocks. Looking north from the bridge, we can admire the Bastei rock formations.

W połowie mostu oraz na skałach znajdują się liczne punkty widokowe. Patrząc z mostu w kierunku północnym możemy podziwiać formacje skalne Bastei.
