I came across this story today, "Corporate media preparing to attack crypto and pave the way for CBDC rollout" and thought I should pass it on to everyone who thinks we are going anywhere but down.
The writer says "the SEC and FDIC are about to announce a wave of regulations and crackdowns on stablecoins that would gut the industry and lead to another major selloff in crypto coins like bitcoin."
I honestly don't care much about a dump, what I do care about is the Government coming to our corner of the crypto space and saying HBD is illegal, especially when they say this "The regulator also said, in its view, that certain crypto interest account providers were providing unregistered securities, such as BlockFi and Voyager."
I'm sure the gov. will try these regs in the future so it's good to know ahead of time if we need to offshore things. Anyway, read the article with a bonus about the plight of cattle ranchers in the US. Don't panic, prepare.
Stablecoin regulations are expected.
Can't be using a USD derivative and then gets mad that they are coming for you.
Perhaps we should change HBD to HB¥ then?
I believe the witnesses will cross that bridge when it gets there.
