Since I'm on my brand new laptop, I forgot the settings to export my recording to an acceptable file, so I had to record the recording. yay...
Spk.network is building something amazing, something that has the potential to keep and make our chain more and more decentralized.
With the help of running your own IPFS-node on your system, you are now able to store videos straight from 3Speak.tv! That's just awesome.
More power to us, less power to central points of failure like Cloudfare, AWS, etcetera. Hooray!

80 megs for 2 minutes is nothing, here's a 40 second video of mine:
(Of course its in 4K with HDR support making it massive and beautiful, which 3Speak would enable at least HDR, I get them not enabling 4K support since the file sizes go up a ton).

The same video uploaded to 3Speak(https://ipfs.rishipanthee.com/ipfs/QmaCTa9L6XcV6bFmdh7RgJTjg7yzwRk74HAGNiT1DRzrLV/) after compression is only 21 Megs for 1080p, 38 megs for all versions). Compression is magic but the quality drops quite heavily.
What codec are you using? h264?
Whatever's default for iOS, I'm not too familiar with the stuff behind videos.
