I purchased a Burley bicycle trailer from my neighbor a few weeks back and today was the test ride with the boys.
We did the usual 7.5 mile ride to the neighboring town and back, and the hitch broke halfway through the ride. The safety strap saved us.
I pulled the boys on the Electra cruiser and it was a painful second half, but fun.
After the ride with the older boys, the little guy and I rode to the town hill.
Before the bike rides, I packed headset, wheel hub, and bottom bracket bearings on two bikes.
I also freed up a seized stem that had been soaking in blaster and atf. It had been a week of attempts.
I had been wanting to put the smallest cog possible on my huffy machine, and today was the day.
This morning I walked through the Sunday swap meet, and I found a few smaller USA made c-clamps and a vintage canvas military bag.
Thank you, and best wishes.

Is the hitch easily repairable my friend?
Glad you had a safety strap!👍
I'm sure I can replace the plastic peice with steel, but I'm sure a few videos exist on how to on YouTube. We all become masters with all the How Tos on YouTube
Very true… What would we do without YouTube?😇👍😊
You captured some great photos and it looks like you had a lot of fun
