Bumblebees can fly higher then Mt Everest but most of the other bees are only good to about 4,000 meters
If a mountaineer were to take a few bees up to the summit and release them there, then they would be able to fly higher than Everest. I checked google to see if anybody had actually done that (you never know!) and discovered instead that a mountaineer been killed by killer bees while climbing down a cliff, and his faithful dog had been killed by them at the top of the cliff...
