Mini pizza rolls

in Foodies Bee Hive3 years ago

I made some mini pizza rolls the other day for Trumpman's birthday. I used the classic pizza dough and filled with a cheese mix and some salami. I also made some with sausage filling.

For the dough

  • 1 cup of lukewarm milk
  • 1 cup of lukewarm water
  • 0.5 cup of vegetable oil
  • 30 gr of fresh yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of yoghurt
  • all purpose flour as much as it takes to have a soft, squishy dough

Mix the water and milk with the sugar and yeast and then keep adding all the other ingredients and leave the flour for the end. Let your dough rest in a warm place for at least half an hour, or until it doubles in volume and then you're ready to start rolling.

Divide your dough in balls the size of a big orange. Take one ball at a time and make a thick sheet of dough using your dough roller. Spread the filling all over, roll the sheet and cut in small round pieces. Put them in a baking tray, brush with some egg wash on top and bake in a preheated 180-200 degree oven for about 20 minutes.

The only problem with those mini bites is that they are WAAAAAY TOO DELICIOUS and you can't stop munching on them all day long... or at least until there are none left in the bowl! 😂😂

Why is it that when we are starving, all the foodie posts come out to play. This is like the fourth one I have seen so far this morning and I am officially ravenous!!!
