I was too desperate from everything for my personal problems. So I took a short break. But I missed you very much. Today I am going to tell you a very sad story of my previous office colleague. In our country there is a government rule to raise the flag every morning till ending office time. I was in Rajbari jilla beside the Padma river. My office was there and when I worked, there was 4 more office in that building.
After 2 years I transferred into Munshiganj from Rajbari. But my lady colleague Monira was still working there. A month ago she went on her duty as usual. In the afternoon the officer went on a meeting in District Chancellor's office. And other staff who was sample collecting assistant went to Manikganj jilla for extra duty. At 4.00 pm Monira went to veranda for peak down the flag. She had a little baby of 9 months. She kept the baby on the floor beside the door of veranda and when she pull down the thin rope the rope stucked. Then she tried hard to down the flag but failed. She gripped her mobil in one hand and tried to peak the 20 feet long stainless steel pipe. After that she failed to balance her hand and the pipe sloped on the electric ware.
The electric ware was flowing 11,000 Volt electricity. She was shocked instantly and got fire. A part of plaster of the wall was decayed for the high voltage electric pressure and heat. Monira tried to get out fron veranda and wanted to entered into the wash room. But she couldn’t because her child was about to risk in got fire. Then some people saw her burning body. They rushed into the office and escaped her in senseless condition. Then she admitted into Burn unit of Dhaka Medical college Hospital. After 4 days straggle she died. It was the most saddest accidental memory in my life. Though she was my colleague but I took him as my close younger sister. Our chemistry was so funny and memorable. Often we enjoyed in the river office by doing childish activities. In my working life I will get more good colleagues but no one can fillup the lackings of my sweet sister.
So please think before taking risk is it emergency or not? If emergency choose the safest way to solve. Your company can't fillup your absence in your family.
