If you are enroute to your destination, you will know, if you are making a considerable progress towards your dream, you will also know. In the same way, if you are just marking time or waiting for things to happen on their own, you will also know. The truth is, waiting for things to happen on their own will make you you to wait for long. You will agree with me that, in farming for example, there is no way you have expect harvests if you have not initially planted something.
If you must feature in a glorious future, then you have to picture that particular future in your mind today. To be sincere with you, it is the actions of today forms the future of tomorrow. If your actions of today are not worthwhile, then do not expect the future to be worth it. The same way that what you are seeing today was once a thought and actions of yesterday, what you will see tomorrow will be heavily dependent on the thoughts and actions of today.
If anyone tells you that the future exclusively answers to luck and chance, then they are trying to make you irresponsible. The truth is, you have the responsibility to create and fashion your own tomorrow from today. It is when you have a mental creation of your future that you will then figure out how to go about it. Without having something created in your mind, you will not have anything to pursue after and you will not know when things are going either right or wrong.
Have you ever seen a builder that starts to build a structure with first having a structure design of it? To make the building of the house possible, the first step has to be to have a picture of the structure. This will help the civil engineer to be able to build with precision, accuracy and speed.
Believe me, when you know exactly where you are going to, you will discover that speed will become a natural ally, but when you are not sure, then speed will be lessened. So to move with speed, you have to know the direction first. In the same way, when you have the knowledge of how you will like your tomorrow to be like, then you will not struggle to create a mental picture of it. When you have created the mental picture, then the actualization will be realer than you can imagine.
Everyone has the absolute prerogative to create that kind of feature they want to see. Otherwise, they may just be at the mercies of the decision of someone else, and they may not maximise the full potentials of future. Your background notwithstanding, your status notwithstanding, you can still create a great tomorrow if you want to. You only need to put in positive work towards the right direction.
It is true that you are unable to make adjustments to the past, and that could be the reason for how your today is. However, you still have the ample opportunity today to make good use of your today and to make actions that will set your future aright. You may not have had a choice of how you start or how you were born, but definitely, you have a choice of how your life will end by your actions of today.
