I just started this sketchbook; it was a gift. I've spent several months buying sheets of paper and cutting them into several eighth-sized sheets, also buying inexpensive notebooks at dollar stores. So, for me, this was a really wonderful gift.
It's a size I hadn't used before, and I plan to continue working this way, horizontally. The first thing I did was what all artists do with their first sketchbook: ruin it with an ugly drawing. And then I painted a little bird.
