In this article I show a ladybug with a special coloring.
In diesem Artikel zeige ich einen Marienkäfer mit besonderer Färbung.
Determination / Bestimmung
Thanks to the good macro images, I was able to easily identify this beetle. It was immediately clear that it was a beetle from the ladybird family. But the coloring only appears very seldom. First the species had to be determined more precisely. The Asian ladybug always has some kind of discoloration around the head and pronotum that cannot be seen here. So this species could be ruled out. This color variation can appear in native ladybirds. The normally black points here are white and extremely weak. On closer inspection you can even count them, and I suspect a twenty-four point (Subcoccinella vigintiquatuorpunctata).
Dank der guten Makroaufnahmen konnte ich die Bestimmung dieses Käfers leicht durchführen. Das es ein Käfer aus der Familie der Marienkäfer ist war sofort klar. Aber die Färbung taucht so nur sehr selten auf. Zuerst galt es die Art genauer zu bestimmen. Der asiatische Marienkäfer hat um Kopf und Halsschild immer irgendwelche Arten von Verfärbungen, die hier nicht zu sehen sind. Also konnte diese Art ausgeschlossen werden. Beim einheimischen Marienkäfer kann diese Farbvariation auftauchen. Die normalerweise schwarzen Punkte sind hier weiß und nur extrem schwach ausgebildet. Bei genauer Betrachtung kann man sie sogar zählen, und ich vermute einen Vierundzwanzigpunkt (Subcoccinella vigintiquatuorpunctata).
