RE: HIVE doesn't care about You

in OCD5 years ago

Yeah for sure APPICS it is a whole other conversation. But the most important detail is that for the big HIVE supporters if I am still on APPICS mean I am not a trully HIVE believer and I am straight away put aside. But that is a whole other conversation. Maybe another 20 minutes video coming soon 🤣🤣🤣

Yes I have seen that I got some nice rewards on the dapplr video. And I was honestly expecting. Once again because all the higher powers were ragging and excited about the launch. But the reason I have decided to talk about wasn't the votes. It was because I thought it is an app that can do a lot for what this blockchain promise to offer their users. A social media platform. So i thought it was important to share with people on my circles that have similar interest and in this case I thought telling them about the app could be useful for them like it can be useful for me. To fulfil the goals of having a social media platform that reward everyone for their engagements.

I was also never shy when it comes to admitting the lack of time I spend consuming content in the blockchain. And I am very open about that. Once again due to the fact that it is difficult to find content that is not related with the development of the bkockchain, new dapps, listings on exchanges, technicalities of the platforms, new features on all the interfaces. And I understand how that can be very exciting for people that are more technical and have the knowledge on this area but that's not my case. So for me as an average user and a creative person that can get boring very fast. I don't have the skills or the knowledge to keep it up or being able to understand it all. So opening all this communities and exploring this dapps on the blockchain for years and struggle to find something more relaxing obviously it gets me demotivated to keep trying. Specially when over and over again along the years I have seen so many talented creatives joining the community, getting excited, creating exclusive content for the platform, trying to take our flag and get it out there to just see them disappear for lake of interest and support in what they do. I have seen too many people coming and going. I have seen the community losing a lot of great creative artists. And that's why I also don't look much for that content here because I don't want to find that people, see their excitement to be in a new community that might give them a nice warm welcome for a week or two to give up on them straight away after that and go back to the hive cycle of non ending posts. It is hard to keep losing people like that. Heart breaking.

Sort:

there are new communities forming now that have nothing to do with blockchain. For example, the Makeup Power community.

Yeah I have seen. And I hope they can get support from some whales.

that's why @adiwathrive is doing vibes here, to highlight content creators that are doing good with a mindset of mind body and spirit (:

if you don't have the time, were doing columns by Monday to Friday (this week we're off) of bilingual content, in a human way , you could have a look and see if something it's good

altough I would love to support professional and semiprofessional content only, I always put my treshold low to help content creators that I know they could do it better, so, I took the time to nurture bad content creators (not everybody, just the ones I think are dealing with the surface and still are not cracking the egg of their imagination....) of course I have patience to do this and a passion for education.

that's a long term m solution because even if we change the plattform, humans are the same since centuries, only music can stop this, and complain is also noise when you're not giving a solution, can we be agree on that?

of course it works for catharsis, I do this myself, but find a creative approach for your social criticism and find a time to give on feedback to others what you love to see on yours 🙂 cheers

you're part of the trouble when you're not using part of your valuable time to give value to others (I could relate this,)

Thanks for taking the time to reply. And I do understand what You mean when Youbsay that humans will always be humans and if I am not presenting solutions I am part of the problem. I get that and I respect it. But as someone that isn't at all tech savy or even muchnof a crypto expert it can be difficult to come up with solutions straight away. What I can bring to the table is my experience as a user of social media platforms and a consumer of content. And I keep trying to do that over and over again. But if I don't get any of the big ones and developers to grab what I say and my opinions sonwe can work together in solutions it is difficult to actually make something happen. Also I feel that onenof the problems is actually the lack of humanity we might be cultivating here on the community. Too many bots and ways to make a quick buck instead of doing that long term grown you talk about.

I feel you. No disagreement there.

I only can keep doing my best to try to make this community the best I can for myself and everyone that like me made HIVE their home for their content. 😀 thank You so much for the time and attention on this issue.

🙏 Likewise, thank you for addressing it and taking your time to discus it.
We need to have these kind of conversations if we want to scale Hive and onboard new members. I look at it from a positive perspective. There is so much room to grow.

Only hope the one whom this video was addressed watched it and are reading this discussions! Maybe...just maybe some changes and some of my points might come across helpful 😄
