Afternoon everyone ….
Today I want to share with you a coin that has been on my wish list for some time now. But there’s always been something else that just came out.
I wasn’t collecting/stacking when this coin was released, I was on a twelve year span of not actively collecting.
In the earlier years of the Britannia the obverse changed yearly, unlike the past ten years. The designs were always something to look forward to.
Not that the current design isn’t nice, I just personally like when designs change yearly.
The coin in mention is the 2009 Britannia. It has Lady Britannia at the helm of a chariot with two horse pulling her.
It’s an awesome design in my opinion.
Check it out….

That's a nice looking piece
That is such a nice coin, I wish I had picked it up back when it was cheap too!
I think it will be great when I'm even older and even more senile. I won't remember what coins I have, and every time I look at them I'll be glad I have new coins.

I'll expect to see this in one of your 2025 12 Days of Christmas post.

A horse has a much more beautiful design, and when a man thinks of something, he is much happier if it is done.
Yeah, such nice coins, @silverd510! I wasn't stacking either in 2009. Oh well...
