Reflection Hunters #47: A Thousand and One Thoughts

I was caught unaware by the beautiful weather today. The dark and gloomy clouds are gone! As I look up the skies, I noticed the wonderful reflection of the clouds in the side mirrors of my car. A thousand and one thoughts enter through my mind. But first, I'll take these photos to share with you today.

A thousand thoughts come in my head

And fill the livelong day;

Some are so big I wonder how

They find the space to stay.

And sometimes they're so busy

I go off quite alone

And talk to them beneath the sky

Upon a mossy stone;

And I have quite a pleasant day

Just listening to what they say.

Some come from near and some from far,

And some are pretty as a star;

Some are quite big and some are small,

Some can't be understood at all

By just a child like me;

And so I'll wait until I'm big to see.

The poem above was written by Annette Wynne entitled "A Thousand Thoughts". Sometimes when I look at clouds, literally a thousand thoughts come rushing through my mind!

It's unbelievable how time has passed by quickly and how skimpy my participation in your contest has been! I can think if only five articles written!
I don't live near the water, although I have taken beautiful reflection photos of that last Summer. Blessed are they who get to enjoy reflections of skies, and clouds, and structures...

I live by the sea but it does not help in our winter weather. Ice covered with snow gives no reflections. I have just a couple of photos in my archive to use when open the contests, so it can become a problem. Have a nice new year! 🤗

It's one of my many weird traits.. I know car parts and interiors. I am weird like that! Also we looked at a ton of them when last shopping for a car. That was almost 10 years ago now. Hard to believe. We decided on a Cadillac instead. She wanted a more sporty car and she wears the pants so that's what she got! lol. It was her car anyhow.. I like my Jeep. Have to hand crank those windows, but I like it basic. hehe

That's for sure. I made quite a few changes to it to lessen the intense ride, but it's still a Jeep. You can only do so much to lessen the roughness.
