Valle Nevado, is a special tourist center for skiing, located at a distance of 46 kilometers from the center of Santiago de Chile. It is the main resort at the foot of the Andean mountain range, it is open to the public throughout the year. The ski center was recently opened in Chile in 1988, the year it was created by French businessmen, emulating the most emblematic winter resorts of the European Alps. It was erected at the foot of the hill El Plomo, of the Andean mountain range in the vicinity of Santiago.

Next to the facilities of this center, a few kilometers away, you can reach the La Parva and Los Colorados ski centers, so that together they form the three ski centers to perform a variety of mountain activities in any Chilean season of the year. This extraordinary place also offers the practice of Heliskiing, whose practice consists of practicing alpine skiing, which is accessed through a helicopter, and instead of hiking, it is done cross-country, but is highly selected, typical of Professionals in sports.
For those who prefer snowboarding, the valley has mountainous elevations of powder snow, along the Andean mountain range, as well as virgin snow spots for the most trained. But they also have guides and experts who guide the tourist during the tour.
