My EasyDefi Story

in LeoFinance3 years ago

I was gone and then returned and all my money was here

So I invested in a couple projects run by @shortsegments on Steemit, and so I knew him for a long time.
When Cubfinance first started I read all the articles about how to get started, but I was to scared to do it myself. I am young and we are suppose to be tech savy but thats not true for all of us.

So when this project or program started, I mean @easydefi, I was happy because it was like a the only way for me to do it. And since I had gotten my Steem back from @shortsegments when he ran programs on Steem and he paid me like he said he would I was okay sendng him my Leo and my Hive. Back then he took both.

I understand that in crypto we are suppose to control everything and trust nobody, but this shit is to complicated. You need help and sometimes you need to trust someone, so I did.

In the beginning, like almost a year, the payouts were fantastic. Cub was 3 or 4 dollars and life was good.
I think it was 8-9 months into the EasyDefi project and I was up like 100% ! It was fucking crazy!

Then Life got messed up. I think my parents didn't keep my paperwork current and I got deported. It was a real shit show. I wasn't born there, I was born here, but my paperwork wasn't straight, so they kicked my ass out.

I was there a year and my parents hired a lawyer and fixed my paperwork. It was scary as hell, and although I learned a lot from the experience, I don't wish that kind of hell on anyone.
But you can bet your ass I keep my own paperwork straight now.

Anyway I had a surprise, my Leo rewards kept coming into my account. I really thought I was fucked, and I was, but I didn't expect @shortsegments to keep sending my Leo, cause I wasn't fucking here anymore. Its stupid, but I just assumed everyone knew I was kicked out. Stupid I know, but when it's such a big thing in your life, you think everybody sees it too.

Plus I felt powerless as hell. I mean talk about being fucking vulnerable. If he didn't pay me what the fuck could I do about It?? I couldn't do shit.

But my Leo kept coming. Sometimes I was able to get on the internet and check my account, but there was no way to convert it to money, so I just reinvested my earnings. It meant a lot to me, because it gave me some hope and shit, that I would have a big fucking wad of money waiting for me.

You just don't know how a much a big ray of fucking sunshine it was to get paid. Thats some crazy shit that will brighten up your day, especialy when you feel like shit.

So that's my #easydefistory

Thank you @shortsegments for continuing to pay my Leo while I was gone. And I hope I win cause this is a good fucking story.
