My goal has been to post daily for a year, I think ive gotten pretty close to that. With over 550 posts, 3500 comments and over 37,000 upvotes given out to the Steem community I think its been a great year in the crypto community.
Regardless of the bear market we are in, the volume, dapps, communities and others show no matter the price there is a want and need for cryptocurrency. I plan to stay around to see more adoption and do my best to run infrastructure to support the needs of these protocols. Although I have had to shut down many of my masternodes from being unprofitable due to the current prices I do have hope I can enable them again when the price rises to meet or beat VPS costs.
In the last year I have learned a lot about photography, using my full spectrum camera and traveling to some great wilderness locations I am really glad I have communities to share my photos and videos with. I greatly appreicate the feedback from followers, such as @gandalfthewhite @photovisions and others that have pointed out when I made mistakes. Such as my white balance being off, and by taking their advise my photos are much better now.
Writing posts once or twice a day has helped me become a better wordsmith and I think its helping me with my creativity quite a bit. I get excited to make videos and find many of my posts quite enjoyable to compose. Ive set standards for myself, such as trying to always have more than 350 words in a post and preferably over 5000 characters. I do this to set a good standard for the groups I am in, such as @helpie @thealliance and others that have allowed me to join them. It is very important for me to make sure every post has good quality to it and I would hope my peers feel the same.
As I am new to these social media crypto communities on discord I have delegated quite a bit to @helpie to support them. And try to join in on the radio shows and participate in the meetings.
Taking my over 15k in Steem Power I have delegated most it back into the community, almost 20 delegations have been made at this time. I have gained more followers by showcasing my posts through these groups, and the gracious upvotes and trails have helped me a lot during the bear market we are in.
I try to keep at least 1000SP and 75% Voting Power on my Steem account, so people get meaningful upvotes. I try to give every more than dust so they can benefit from my upvotes. I have tried raising my votes above 5% but find my VP drops too quickly. So its been a balance game keeping enough SP to give people dustless upvotes.
I try to respond to every comment I get, and sometimes it may be a few days between responding to one when it gets posted. I hope this does not bother anyone, but since I am cross posting across at least four platforms I try to comment once every few days all at once. It seems to work well for me, but I feel bad for those who wait awhile to see my response.
While HF20 was going on, I created numerous accounts on other Crypto Social media platforms so in a few months I will have to celebrate on those platforms as well.
Image hosting has been a concern of mine for the last few months. I started using Supload for awhile, which is a Ethereum blockchain project for image hosting. Though I am concerned the outages so I have moved to Spee.ch which runs on the LBRY blockchain. Though in the last day ive had to move back to Supload due to issues with Spee.ch I am working with LBRY on their discord to figure out whats wrong. I was unable to do this with Supload, so glad to see LBRY has a discord for me to get help right away.
My goals going forward are the following:
1 - Post at least twice a day, quality posts 100% blockchain based using images on LBRY, including icons, banners and main content with 350 words minimum.
2 - Streamline content creation to the blockchain. Extract media from camera and organize in folders by challenge type. Like colorchallenge, treetuesday, landscapephotography or others for certain days.
3 - Build catalog of content (text, images video), resize, watermark and prep for posting. Have back log of posts, with already hosted image URLs on Spee.ch all in text file ready to be copy and pasted with minimal editing or correctly.
4 - Set up scheduled posts using Steempeak or other Dapp, so posts are automatically posted.
5 - Find a way to cross post to Weku, Whaleshares, Bearshares and others.
6 – Work on building better content and gain pledges for support of my work on Bitbacker. It is a Crypto based Patreon alternative. I have some ideas for tiers, such as mentions, infrared or ultraviolet dedication photos for pledges, or even gifts of exotic stones and crystals I have found out in the wilderness. For the maximum tier I am offering altcoin wallets sent monthly with some coins to hodl, curious to see if there is interest for these offers.

@photovisions thanks, I'm in it for the long haul as they say. I think steem is in a unique place to take over social media.. or some crypto platform I expect to in the next few years. I'm doing my best to be an early adopter.
