Me too, was really bothering me I did not know what was going on. Yeah I think that is probably it and yeah I am amazed how drastic the change can be just from over watering. But I need to remember we just got flooded so maybe that is why it has such a drastic look.
Indeed genetics may play into it, so we shall see long term how it does now I got the water more dialed in.
