AUTUMN’S CHANGE
The Earth she spins – a new season each quarter
Warm Summer days – each growing shorter
The first sign is in the trees
With the changing of their leaves.

A most vibrant display,
Autumn colours array.
It’s magical one might say.
A spectacular Autumn day.

The green fades away
As the leaves they do sway
Bursting with yellow and red.
No colour the same,
As they break from the tree
Falling gracefully onto your head.
Rake up a pile – now it’s time for some fun
Let’s mess it all up and before it’s gone
Lie in the warmth of the sun.

The evenings come sooner each day
As the cold winds start to convey
The fact that Winter is on it’s way.
Summer to Autumn did now relay.

Each season changes it’s produce and fruit
New things take root and do shoot.
New variety of Earth’s delights
Takes cooking to grand new heights.
With so many things to savour
Each oozing with wonderful flavour.
The rewards of your hard labour
To share and enjoy with your neighbour.

Enjoy these last days of the season
Some outdoor activities squeeze in.
For soon the seasons will change
Your activities to rearrange.
More time you will spend inside
From the bitter cold trying to hide.

creative words, mesmerizing turns,
vocabulary twist, persuasive tunes.
clever, heartfelt, inciting to read,
