Testing Colcafe instant coffee

Greetings,

Dear friends, I hope you enjoyed a nice Christmas with your family. I apologize for my absence but I had not tried anything new to share with you until this week when I received two gifts from friends who live in Colombia.

Today I want you to join me to try Colcafe instant coffee, for me and for many when we hear Colombian coffee we think of Juan Valdez, maybe it is a matter of marketing or some good past reputation.

The fact is that for the Venezuelans that have emigrated to the sister Republic, asking them for Juan Valdez coffee is taken as a gesture of grace since they had a hard time, many friends tell me that they arrived with many expectations tasting the coffee when it was nothing of the other world.

On the other hand when they want to make a good gesture they proudly give away Colcafe coffee in any of its presentations they speak very good reviews about it, on the contrary when one refers to Juan Valdez coffee. Well, enough of telling you what my friends tell me and let's try the coffee.

This time I am going to focus my publication on instant coffee and the next review will be of another presentation of the same brand.

The first thing I liked and I find super practical is that it comes separated by portions, unlike Nescafé, which comes in a package and one prepares it by spoonfuls.

This prevents the flavor from being altered by time or moisture from entering and damaging the product.

The preparation is very simple just heat the water needed, in this case as I made only one sachet I heated 150cc of mineral water.

While in the cup I was already waiting for the contents of the sachet which is instant coffee, powdered milk and sugar. For my taste I added half a spoonful of sugar more and who knows the Colombians they almost do not add sugar to coffee, well I actually do not add it either since I have removed the flour and sugar from my daily diet but these days I'm on vacation 🤣🤣.

Once we incorporate the hot water we just need to beat well, ideally we should have these beaters to get good foam to our coffee or well that's important for me I like my coffee hot and frothy.

Then all that's left is to find a good companion for our coffee and enjoy it.

I really have no complaints, it has a good coffee flavor, it has the necessary amount of milk, it makes a good coffee with milk and it is very practical to prepare, it is really worth adding it to the shopping cart.

I see that you know how to enjoy a good coffee, and the best thing is that you even look for the ideal company. I am glad that you emphasize the comparison with the Juan Valdez coffee from our sister country, because although I know that it is superior, you can always find all kinds of brands and flavors for our delight. Excellent selection of photographs, they go very well with the reading, happy weekend...

Thanks for stopping by if I am quite demanding with coffee, of course when I go with expectations I can also take my coffee brewed in cloth or as I take it when I go to the countryside with a charcoal stove and a pewter cup.

It's always nice to find a tried and true coffee at the store! I'm digging the reindeer mug 😁
