Objetos antiguos de mi casa - antique objects from my house
Cuantos recuerdos e historias tienen para contar las antigüedades de una casa, buscando algunos objetos antiguos para participar en la iniciativa de @eddiespino me encontré con 4 cosas que me gustaría enseñarte y contarte lo que significan en mi familia y mi historia personal.
How many memories and stories have to tell the antiques of a house, looking for some old objects to participate in @eddiespino's initiative I came across 4 things that I would like to show you and tell you what they mean for family and my personal history.
Primer objeto - First object
Pintura de mi bisabuelo - Painting of my great-grandfather
Esta es una pintura realizada de una fotografía antigua de mi bisabuelo que guardaba mi abuela materna de su papa la fotografía original desapareció, con el pasar del tiempo está perdiendo color y se está dañando. Esta pintura tiene alrededor de 50 años, aunque nadie de la familia sabe el año en que se adquirió. Mi bisabuelo fue un hombre millonario, campesino, poseía mucho ganado y tierra, también tuvo más de 50 hijos en 9 mujeres que vivían cerca y era vecinas en el extenso llano, a todos sus hijos los reconoció y les heredo algo de sus bienes. Se caso legalmente con mi bisabuela cuando ella se encontraba en su lecho de muerte. Mi bisabuelo fue asesinado con arma blanca y a traición por uno de sus trabajadores, el asesino se escapó y nunca fue encontrado, quedando impune la muerte de mi bisabuelo. Tengo más detalles de su vida e historia, pero eso es tema para otro post.
This is a painting made from an old photograph of my great-grandfather that my maternal grandmother kept from her dad the original photograph disappeared, with time it is losing color and is getting damaged. This painting is about 50 years old, although no one in the family knows the year it was acquired. My great-grandfather was a millionaire, farmer, he owned a lot of cattle and land, he also had more than 50 children in 9 women who lived nearby and were neighbors in the vast plain, he recognized all his children and inherited some of his property. He legally married my great-grandmother when she was on her deathbed. My great-grandfather was stabbed to death by one of his workers, the murderer escaped and was never found, leaving my great-grandfather's death unpunished. I have more details of his life and history, but that is a subject for another post.
Segundo objeto - Second object
Muebles de cuero y madera - Leather and wood furniture
Este es el primer juego de recibo que compro mi abuela hace 50 años, desde que tengo memoria conozco estos muebles, son más antiguos que yo. Aquí se han sentado muchas personas y he dedicado bastante tiempo limpiándolos y lubricándolos con crema para madera. Son muy bonitos para ser rústicos, están compuestos por dos muebles individuales, el mueble doble y una mesa. Están hechos de cuero y madera en el cuero están talladas unas lindas flores, que me imagino fueron hechas con algún molde de hierro caliente. El cuero se está partiendo eso es una muestra que para el tiempo no hay nada imposible de destruir y transformar.
This is the first receipt set my grandmother bought 50 years ago, for as long as I can remember I have known this furniture, it is older than I am. Many people have sat here and I have spent quite a bit of time cleaning and oiling them with wood cream. They are very nice for being rustic, they consist of two single pieces of furniture, the double piece of furniture and a table. They are made of leather and wood on the leather are carved some nice flowers, which I imagine were made with some hot iron mold. The leather is splitting that's a sign that for a time there is nothing impossible to destroy and transform.

Cámara fotográfica - Camera
Esta cámara pertenece a mi papa, fue su primera cámara hace 45 años de marca Zenit la mejor para la época y durante las siguientes se mantuvo en el mercado por mucho tiempo, con una lente adicional para sacar fotografías profesionales, era de rollo y mis primeras fotografías fueron capturadas con esta cámara.
This camera belongs to my dad, it was his first camera 45 years ago Zenit brand the best for the time and during the following ones it was kept in the market for a long time, with an additional lens to take professional pictures, it was roll film and my first pictures were captured with this camera.

Cuarto y último objeto - Fourth and final object
Pintura del sagrado corazón de Jesús - Painting of the sacred heart of Jesus
Mi familia profesa la religión católica y si no sabes quién es la persona que aparece en la pintura es el santo conocido como Jesús de Nazaret, esa imagen es la que se popularizo de él, aunque no creo que se pareciera al que existió porque no tiene ningún rasgo característico de la raza a la que pertenecía. Cuando era niña siempre pensaba que Jesús fue muy guapo, yo pasaba horas viendo el cuadro por la belleza de la pintura, los colores eran tan intensos y cada expresión tan bien pintada que daba señales de algo vivo. Las manos, las heridas y el sagrado corazón era las partes que más me llamaban la atención, este cuadro tiene como 45 años y el tiempo ha desgastado el color y los bordes del marco.
My family professes the Catholic religion and if you don't know who is the person who appears in the painting is the saint known as Jesus of Nazareth, that image is the one that became popular with him, although I don't think he looked like the one who existed because he doesn't have any characteristic feature of the race he belonged to. When I was a child I always thought that Jesus was very handsome, I spent hours looking at the picture because of the beauty of the painting, the colors were so intense and every expression so well painted that it gave signs of something alive. The hands, the wounds, and the sacred heart were the parts that caught my attention the most, this painting is about 45 years old and time has worn away the color and the edges of the frame.

Wow! Muy buen post! Me encantó! Además las fotos están de muy buena calidad y cada objeto tiene una historia interesante. Me llamó mucho la atención la historia de tu bisabuelo, se ve que fue un gran hombre y que logró mucho, una pena la manera en que falleció.

Hola @eddiespino muchas gracias, la vida de mis ancestros es muy interesante, sobre todo su final.
Triste el final de mi bisabuelo Fermin Torres, QEPD. La persona que lo asesino había dejado su trabajo por chismes, meses después regresó y mi abuelo mandó a que le atendieran, a la servidumbre le ordeno darle comida y un lugar para que descansara y la historia dice que cuando mi abuelo dormía fue a su hamaca y allí lo apuñaló.
Mi abuela adoraba a su papá y de todos sus hijos ella es idéntica a él. Perdono a todos los perpetradores de mi familia, pues creo en la causa y el efecto.
Tal vez la muerte de mi abuelo fue producto de un Karma que vino a pagar. Le agradezco la vida y con esta publicación le honro.

That story about your Great Grandfather, I feel like it could fill 50 posts and still we would only scratch the surface of the whole story.
My favourite is your Dad's camera. It is particularly special because both he, then you have both gotten used to it. That camera holds a piece of your life story within. The camera is one of my dad's most treasured items and his acetate records, which I just remembered are also an antique. 😅😁
