As you may know, I consider myself a very curious person by nature and I have always felt attracted to mythology and history as such, as each country and its culture or tribe represents various events attributing them with something divine and powerful, and this is one of the main aspects that led me to read this amazing manga 2 years ago, imagine my surprise when they announced that it will be animated and presented on the Netflix platform.
At first glance, watching the trailers gave me a good impression both for the fluidity of the animation as the voices (Seiyus) and the dynamic and fast-paced music, so it will be a pleasure for me to specify the impact or the impression that gave me the adaptation of one of my favorite Seinens (category of anime and manga focused on adult audiences) fighting currently being animated. It should be noted that both the technical sheet and my final opinion in the development of this content will be based mainly on the weight that has the manga from my perspective to have a better basis for comparison with the animation and also inform you a little about it, so without more to say let's start.
Como sabrán, me considero una persona muy curiosa de naturaleza y siempre me eh sentido atraído por la mitología y la historia como tal, como cada país y su cultura o tribu representa diversos acontecimientos atribuyéndolos con algo divino y poderoso, y es esto uno de los principales aspectos que me orillo a mí a leerme este increíble manga hace 2 años atrás, imaginen mi sorpresa cuando anunciaron que será animado y presentado en la plataforma de Netflix.
A primera instancia, al ver los trailers me dio una buena impresión tanto por la fluidez de la animación como las voces (Seiyus) y la música dinámica y acelerada, así que será un placer para mí especificar el impacto o la impresión que dio para mí la adaptación de uno de mis Seinens (categoria de anime y manga enfocada a publico adulto) favoritos de pelea actualmente siendo animado. Cabe recalcar que tanto la ficha técnica y mi opinión final en el desarrollo de este contenido se basara principalmente, en el peso que tiene el manga desde mi perspectiva para tener una mejor base a nivel comparativo con la animación y también informarles un poco sobre la misma, así que sin más que decir comencemos.

Shumatsu no Valkyrie or also known as Record of Ragnarok is a manga created and written by Takumi Fukui and Shinya Umemura and illustrated by Chika Aji which was published in November 2017, starting the serialization of the same in the magazine Gekkan comic Zenon, being this collected in 10 volumes until today.
It was at the end of March of this same year, which showed the trailer and confirmation that it would indeed be animated and this will be transmitted on the Netflix platform, its adaptation corresponding to the anime will be carried out by the Graphinica animation studio, this adaptation will premiere today June 17, counting with a season of 12 chapters.
The Graphinica studio, is a Japanese animation studio, founded in April 2009, much of the work that precedes this characteristic animation studio, are works in this case Ovas such as Hellsing: Ultimate, Hellsing: The Dawn and in series, anime such as Juni Taisen.

Fue a finales de Marzo de este mismo año, que se mostro el trailer y confirmación de que efectivamente se animaría y esta será transmitida en la plataforma de Netflix, su adaptación correspondiente al anime será llevada a cabo por el estudio de animación Graphinica, dicha adaptación se estrenara hoy 17 de Junio, contando con una temporada de 12 capitulos.
El estudio Graphinica, es un estudio de animación japonesa, fundado en Abril del 2009, gran parte del trabajo que precede este característico estudio de animación, son obras en este caso Ovas tales como Hellsing: Ultimate, Hellsing: The Dawn y en series, animes como Juni Taisen.
Synopsis / Sinopsis
The plot is really quite simple, the manga presents us with a situation in which all the best known gods decide to talk about the current situation of humanity, in the Valhalla congress held every 1000 years to decide the fate of the same, since humans from their perspective have committed too many sins throughout history, to see how this declines considerably under such sins take the initiative through a vote to restart or destroy all human existence, But before they could continue with such voting process, the Valkyries appear which intend to protect humanity, so they propose to reduce these circumstances in a tournament of fights between humans against gods "The Ragnarok" in which 13 gods will face against 13 humans, if humans win, they will win the favor and forgiveness of the gods not to be eliminated and will be allowed to live 1000 years more, but if the gods win, humans will be exterminated.
La trama realmente es bastante simple, el manga nos plantea una situación en la cual todos los dioses mas conocidos deciden hablar sobre la situación actual de la humanidad, en el congreso del Valhala celebrada cada 1000 años para decidir el destino de la misma, ya que los humanos desde su perspectiva han cometido demasiados pecados a lo largo de la historia, al ver como esta decae considerablemente bajo tales pecados toman la iniciativa por medio de una votación para poder reiniciar o destruir toda la existencia humana, pero antes de que pudieran seguir con tal proceso de votación, aparecen las Valkirias las cuales tienen la intención de proteger a la humanidad, así que estas proponen reducir estas circunstancias en un torneo de peleas entre humanos contra dioses "El Ragnarok"en el cual se enfrentaran 13 dioses contra 13 humanos, si los humanos ganan, ganaran el favor y perdón de los dioses de no ser eliminados y se les permitirá vivir 1000 años más, pero si ganan los dioses, los humanos serán exterminados.

The truth, I am very excited with the animation of this particular manga, once I had the opportunity to start reading it in the middle of 2019 on a monthly basis at the end of each respective month, I fell in love the truth. As I mentioned before the plot is quite simple, it is mainly focused on the fight of two factions individually, through rounds until death, however the factor that I liked the most is that the battles are set and focused on historical or mythological characters, both on the side of the gods and humans, although mostly the gods, what caught my attention is the creative freedom that the creators of this manga put in the middle.
That is to say, as you read the manga you are presented with the background of each participant, allowing us to show the reader and the viewer what characterizes each fighter, clearly respecting the story that precedes it but adding complete freedom to make slight changes according to the situation and the environment, I think that for me it was an interesting aspect since they show a somewhat different facet but maintaining a respect for the characters in question, including in the case of the Valkyries or spectators as well.
The simplicity of the battle is also adorned and complemented by the factor of ideas that represents each character, we are shown that each one presents a characteristic feature and shows us the ideal that wants to make us reach us, also through such feats that occurred in his life and the reason for them being framed in mythology or history, I think you will really enjoy it a lot.
To conclude I hope you really give a chance to this series on Netflix, the truth I am very excited to finish watching it, I am more than halfway through (already knowing what will happen hahaha) I have great faith in this animation studio that at first instance both by the voice actors or Seiyus as they are called in Japan and accelerated and dynamic music that goes very well according to the situation presented to us with fighting scenarios and so far I am satisfied with the result. La verdad, estoy muy emocionado con la animación de este manga en particular, una vez que tuve la oportunidad de comenzar a leerlo a mitades del 2019 de forma mensual a final de cada respectivo mes, me enamore la verdad. Como mencione anteriormente la trama es bastante simple se centra principalmente en la lucha de dos facciones de forma individual, por medio de rondas hasta la muerte sin embargo el factor que más me gusto es además de que las batallas están ambientadas y enfocadas en personajes históricos o mitológicos, tanto del lado de los dioses como el de los humanos aunque mas que todo los dioses, lo que llamo mas mi atención es la libertad creativa que pusieron de por medio los creadores de este manga.
Es decir a medida de que vas leyendo el manga se te presenta el trasfondo de cada participante, permitiéndonos mostrar en este caso al lector y al espectador que caracteriza tanto a cada luchador respetando claramente la historia que lo precede pero agregándole completa libertad de hacer ligeros cambios acorde a como la situación y el ambiente lo amerite, pienso que para mí fue un aspecto interesante ya que muestran una faceta un tanto diferente pero manteniendo un respeto de los personajes en cuestión, inclusive en el caso de las Valkirias o espectadores también.
La simpleza de la batalla también esta adornada y complementada por el factor de ideas que representa a cada personaje, se nos muestra que cada uno presenta un rasgo característico y nos muestra el ideal que nos quiere hacer llegar a nosotros, por medio también de dichas hazañas que se presentaron en su vida y el porque de ellas siendo enmarcados en la mitología o la historia, creo que realmente lo disfrutaran bastante.
Para concluir espero que realmente le den una oportunidad a esta serie en Netflix, la verdad yo estoy muy emocionado por terminar de verla, me encuentro por mas de la mitad (ya sabiendo lo que pasara jajaja) le tengo mucha fe a este estudio de animación que a primera instancia tanto por los actores de doblaje o Seiyus como se les dice en Japón y la música acelerada y dinámica que va muy bien acorde a la situación que se nos presenta con escenarios de lucha y hasta el momento estoy satisfecho con el resultado. Creo que dará una muy buena impresión como me la dio a mí y si fue de su agrado, les recomiendo que lean encarecidamente el manga las ilustraciones son muy buenas la verdad tanto en facciones físicas y detalles con el ambiente como tal, espero haya sido de su agrado este post y disfruten de la serie tanto como yo si deciden verla, gracias por llegar hasta aquí y hasta la próxima.
