Hey Hivers!
Many Hive members post every day. Some don't understand it and don't support it. Some on the contrary. Everyone has a different opinion, and so does the Hive way. No one person is the same, so there is no one right way for everyone. Thousands of great recommendations may not work for you if you don't understand why you need it in life in the first place. It's talking about a future you don't believe in or don't want to see. It's a path to values that aren't important to you specifically at all. Choose whether or not to read this post next!
Goals
Making money is not a goal. Living a certain way is a goal. It may take money to do that. But it will probably require many other skills and things besides money. Or maybe you won't need money at all. You'll just have it. And it will show up when you need it. What I expect from my future life is more communication and helping loved ones with words. I want to give a rod, not a fish. That doesn't require money at all. So I am learning to communicate, to listen, to understand, to write and to explain.
Posting every day helps me in this learning every day. After all, if I can't write it clearly for myself, how can I explain it to someone else? Your goal of posting every day may be completely different. I don't rule out that it will initially be money.
Didn't you write that it wasn't?
Yes, it's not. Because at the end of the day, only you know what you want the money for now. At the end of the road, when you get it, how happy will you be? What will you do every day? Imagine you have 24 hours of free time a day, what will you do every day for a year or five years? I will write every day. Maybe most of it will be unpublished (writing in the desk, as they say in my country). But I will do it. I certainly won't be bored...
Be yourself
Be yourself everywhere and always! This is advice I've read both here on Hive and heard offline. It's hilarious that we don't follow it. No one does. I'm sure we just don't. The world is so much like a good movie that we become great actors ourselves. We put on masks and then believe it ourselves. Everyone sees each other in masks, everyone understands everything and plays this show of life every day. Some are better, some are worse. It's neither good nor bad. That's the way this movie is.
In between films, we sometimes return to the real world (if it still exists). And that's where it gets interesting. It turns out that you're not quite who the people around you see you as. But that's not their fault. Nor is it yours, per se. You just accepted the rules of the game, and you play the game the way the circumstances require. You don't quarrel with everyone you meet, throwing the truth in their face every day, do you?
How do I look today?
Terrible. I didn't want to see you today. But what can you do...
I think the wise men don't just keep quiet and smile for nothing. And remember their great quotes? These are quotes from a 3-year-old child. And children really are brilliant in their sincerity, straightforwardness, and naivete. They really are more likely to be themselves every day than we have been for 5 minutes in the last half of our lives. Even when a child falls to the floor and throws a tantrum, remember? He's genuinely upset. He doesn't pick up words like, "I'm upset daddy, but I think you're right. You are the best dad on this planet...
In most of my posts every day, I take my mask off for at least 1-2 minutes. Otherwise, I can't write anything at all. Where there's no me, there's nothing of interest to anyone. This is enough in real life. News, gossip, talk about the weather. There is no us. There's rarely anything there but someone else's reality. I am a child who wrote stories in my head without realizing it. And it was always love. Only now I'm coming back to it. Little by little, sometimes, but I'm coming back.
Enjoying it
As I began this post, I expected to write a few paragraphs to meet my goal of posting every day. Today is day 8 in a row. I had a stupor and decided to talk to myself with words in the Ecency interface. In the process, I realized I was enjoying taking off my mask and being able to share a piece of myself. To finally be myself. It's moments like this that make me feel like I could write forever. Which I will do next time I have more time. For now, I don't want to drag out this post.
You can enjoy any daily post. It can even be an Actifit report with a photo of your neighborhood and a few phrases about the weather. I've read and do read posts like this. It can be felt when a person gets high. I get high with him in his 100-200 words. The energy is still there and feels excellent through a phone or laptop screen. So don't hold back or limit yourself. Just enjoy what you're doing. And it's not just about Hive.
All other tips
All other tips are very important and will only work after the ones written above. Or work 100%, after the ones written above. This is my opinion. Plus, it doesn't work right away. It takes time. Everything in this world needs time, that's why it costs us so much.
So I end up where I started. You are the center of everything around you. The real you. No one else knows you better than you do. I think even you sometimes don't know who you really are. So you can succeed with all this advice, but along the way you lose yourself completely. I'd rather find myself to see my way with the tips that really work for me. So I'll keep posting every day and see where it goes....
