I know, I know it's a bear, but shouldn't one give the regular animals that "hang around" your house a name like you would a pet?
Personally, I think this bear and friends are a lot friendlier than the Gators that "hung out" in Florida.
We call this bear "BOB" because it seemed fitting for every time we go for a walk, we find ourselves saying, "But...what about BOB?"
If anyone has another name choice, I'd love to hear it.

I'll need some help with this Bald Eagle as we feed it occasionally off our dock and I don't have a name. I don't know if it is a boy or girl bird...but really, I don't care.
This bird of prey has the skilled precision of "touch and go", and never misses grabbing the food. You can see how incredible the flight is with landing gear down, full flaps, side slip engaged, and all with total grace.

I would have to guess that these 2 are female deer given the time of year it is. We aren't naming them just yet as they have only been around for a couple of weeks.

These are all my photos
I hope you enjoyed my post because I enjoyed making it.
Follow me...
why not call the bear Brizzy! What´s the tigers name?
hi, how are you;
very beautiful photos :)
Thanks! I'm doing great, but wishing I was back in Greece! Hope you and your wife are doing well!
come come to Greece! :)
thank you, we all well, I'm a little ill but i am ok.
Bob, eh? That's actually pretty fitting for a bear. Although, you could always go with something like "Borty" just to be different... As for the deer, my vote is for Jerky and Venison! There are so many deer in Wisconsin that about 3/4 of the vehicles seem to have hit one. They're cute, but not very bright!
Speaking of not very bright, there is a wild turkey nesting in my mother's flower garden. Every time my mother is out pulling weeds, the turkey gets spooked and panic-flies off to a nearby tree.
Good luck with the wildlife. It would be fun to have a local bear model to work with. Carefully, of course... :-)
Too funny :) As kids, we used to call the turkeys by name..."Thanksgiving, Christmas... lol. I sure hope that wild turkey doesn't fly at your mom!
Jerky and Venison are PERFECT! lol
Sorry I'm arriving to this one late. I love the name Bob!! Best movie ever.
Keep calling him Bob. The eagle I would name Pilot. And the deer even though they aren't for sures yet, I'd call them Tick and Carrier. :)
That is one BIG bear. At least he/she looks like it in the photo. Unless it's post-creek bath, and just coming out of the water, all buffed up.
Bob seems to fit well, particularly since you have a ready-made comment about him already. Ha haa. Bill Murray would be proud. If not Bob, I'd say Bruno. Then again, any bear named Bruno belongs on a tricycle in the circus. So maybe not. Back to Bob or Barney Bear. More comical. Which you need, if he decides to chase after you. As for the eagle, THAT will take some more pondering.
Bob is very curious in the photo, he reminds me of a big dog that plays in the grass with his ball. I think it's very interesting to watch the life of animals, especially when they are in comfortable conditions.
Very nice.. good Photography

Great. Really beautiful animals and I think BOD is very appropriate and very beautiful.
I love the things you are doing! I have lived in Greece for four years! Your work is really fascinating!
I would name this bear ... Brownie.
