Description from Strava:
With the company Move in May challenge I have been trying to walk a bit more. I took the long way home from the station last night for an extra couple of kilometres. With that and the long run on Sunday my legs are feeling it a bit, but I will still get out and run.
Last night I was setting up my new PC. I will write something about that on Hive soon if you are interested. These things always take longer than you expect so I did not do much else. We did start watching the new series of Death Valley that is a lightweight murder mystery set in Wales.
It rained last night, but was not looking too bad out there. It seems we are due for some much warmer weather next week, but today may get more rain.
I am trying to do one intervals run each week with the others being easy and low heart rate. Today I went to 'sprint' up the local hill. Last week I managed six of those, but it was hard work today and so I left it at five. The pace was not terrible, but it was enough.
I took the long way home for some extra distance and it did rain a little then. parkrun at Henlow may be slightly muddy if it keeps up.
I do seem to be seeing some improvements in my fitness. My resting heart rate can be under 50bpm, I got my best parkrun time in a while and I have managed ten chin-ups. I am conscious of getting older and so these things can get harder, but I see scope for more improvement. I am aiming for good quality of life so I can do the things I want like playing a gig with the band on Sunday.
Run free and rock on!

I'm wondering if the new pc costed a lot, expecially with ram prices skyrocketing
It was more than it might have been a while back, but I was due a new one and prices may go up more.
Can't wait to see the new PC! When I started my first interval this morning on the treadmill it was a bit rough, but by the end I had gotten into my groove.
You are probably more up to date with hardware than me. I just specified what I could afford. It should give a nice boost for things like video editing.
I do need my recovery days and have to be wary of trying to do too much with the exercise. I quite like the easy runs and they may still do me good.
I really just don't feel like things are getting easier for me. I feel like at some point I should be able to run further and longer, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Where did you order the machine from? Are you sticking with Linux?
Progress can be slow, but you may find yourself doing more at some point.
I'll do a full post with the PC details. Still on Linux :)
I imagine I'll be watching Death Valley soon. Hubs likes all detective series
We like something with a bit of humour such as Only Murders in the Building. There are so many murder mysteries on the TV. We only watch a couple and watch a mix of other stuff together.
Oh yeah! He watches that as well. Surely with so many deaths, that building would be so haunted by now 😄
Nearly as bad as Midsummer for murders.
Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.

6.04km by walking / running, that is really impressive;
It's running and not that far really. I need the exercise.
