Description from Strava:
Well actually it was an early shower as it started raining just as I went out, but it did not last long. I was feeling a bit tired, so just ran without too much thought of pace or heart rate.

I saw a few runners out there. Also saw some wildlife including a squirrel that did not seem too sure where to go when I came along.

It has been pretty wet with spells of sunshine too, so my solar panels still get a workout. I signed up to a scheme that pays me extra to export and that will happen tomorrow morning for the first time.

The run was not too bad, if not especially quick. Henlow Bridge Lakes parkrun are doing a pace run next month and I have put myself down for that. I have done the 32 minutes before, but could do 30.

@run.vince.run operates the @strava2hive service and he says that Strava are restricting what data can be used elsewhere. I hope it can continue as I get good responses to my run posts on Hive. It is not really about what I can earn there.

I took a photo of the old weighbridge that was used to see how much coal the hospital took. It is overgrown again. We saw another of these are the stately home we visited at the weekend.

Have a great week and run free!

Nowadays I never seen squirrels and I live in the peripherals... It's really hard to find them, poor guys

There are lots around here. We even get them in the garden sometimes.

That is cool the way it is all overgrown. I never would have guessed what it was!

There were some articles about the old hospital in a local magazine, so I know some of the history. It closed down a while ago and lots of houses were built. It's a nice area to run.

Very cool!

There's a whole web site about the place with lots of history and a photo of the weighbridge.

Sounds like a good run overall, and getting paid for your solar exports is a nice bonus. Hope you smash that 30-minute pace run next month!

I'll see what pace time I get allocated. It needs to be something I can do comfortably.

We get paid to export anyway, but this scheme will give us extra now and again.

Yehh your stamina is amazing 🤩
And 7.5km run just amazing

I have run every week for years, so I would hope to be able to run that far. Maybe not so amazing, but cheers anyway :)

Yeeh that's why u ran that far,
Btw take care ❤️

Great morning run! Completing over 7 kilometers in light rain shows a lot of discipline.

It's more of a habit. I tend to regret it if I don't run. I just want to stay fit and healthy.
