It was one of those days that I had to make-do with what I had at hand. One of those days when you had to summon your inner creativity and try to satisfy a new client and make them a regular client.
THE PHOTO-PROCESS
It was a simple and straight forward request from the client, well, my colleague actually but he wanted my services so. He requested for a photoshoot, a couple of photos he could use for his music cover art, I was not with my camera so I had to create magic with my phone but I'd let you be the judge of that. And by the way I called him the vanquisher for his fierce looking face, hence the title, lol.

He had a hood on luckily which made it a little bit fun to work with. For this first photo I had the idea of him giving me a stern look then holding unto the hood. I felt it was a portrait that was going to stand out from the rest, so we should start of with him looking indifferent and he did give me the pose.

The main reason I decided to take this second shot was because of the leading line. I didn't really care much about his pose but his hood was colorful still and I wanted to compose the shot rather neatly, so.

I guess the idea for this one is pretty obvious. I wanted a sort of partly light, partly dark face. As I only have my smart phone with me and natural light alone, I couldn't do much of manipulative but I tried to tilt the client face and he was pretty willing.
In general,

And of course, I don't think any photoshoot is complete without the "look away" photo. It adds a thing dramatic and sort of "unaware" feel to the whole shoot. They always seem to stand-out from the rest and for some reason, the client seems to like them more. I guess it makes them look cool.
THE POST-PROCESS
So do editing this photos, they each have a unique requirement. It depends on how I wanted each of them to come out but generally speaking, there a some edit that was pretty similar amongst all. I use the lightroom Mobile app for editing, its pretty amazing and easy to use and also offers an amazing variety of features.
Exposure - 9
Saturation - 7
Tint - 5
Clarity - 7
Noise reduction - 90
The rest edit were pretty much tailored specially to each photo.
