Hello beautiful folks, hope you all are living the best of your lives.
It is been almost three months of playing Unturned. Although, we - I and my squad - have been playing it since 2016; but this time, it was a new experience for us as well. We have not played it for long, almost two or three years. And, just recently, decided to play it. We were suppposed to play it for a week or two, yet we went ahead of our planned time. All because of the nostalgia this game holds for us. However, this is going to be the last episode, as we would not be playing it soon.
Unturned
You're a survivor in the zombie infested ruins of society, and must work with your friends and forge alliances to remain among the living. There is PvE; there is PvP. There is nostalgia and fun. Toxicity still at its peak. The game was supposed to see 4.0 update, however it did not. A one man - Nelson Sexton - dream is still alive but merely surviving.
Intense Start
As soon as I came online, I got a voice call that "we are ego raiding someone". So, I just turned on my laptop and went straight to the server.
As you can see, I am naked because I ragebaited just a day before. I still think the guy was a hacker, but my teammate says he is just better. So I might accept my downfall. By the way, I got into the server, TPAed to my teammate and sgt Retro (my teammate) had already fired a rocket. Guess what, they were online and died at the spot. My golden katana, bit bugged, was giving me immense confidence. Back in time, I used to carry one with a samurai hat as my identity. So, I went to the Holman and gathered more than 20. Heehheheh!
Right after the explosion, the opponent's whole team was dead. And it was the end for their journey as well. They just trash talked for few minutes and went off. We made our way through the base, of course for the loot.
I just picked up the Alice Pack, thief clothing and a nightvision. Nothing else much mattered to me. The loot was good compared to the usual raid, but a 10x loot server has way more than this.
Yes, I am naked because I just could not find a bottom for me. Moving ahead, we just completed the base raid and went in search of another one. Because, we already had found way more than we used.
We were in search of a good base and found a giagantic base. But, we had no idea, if it is even possible to raid easily or not.
The base was so huge that it was causing great fps crash. We wanted to raid it, but found out that the owners were online. At first, we thought of going for it. But, the team of six players scared us :)
We continued our search, found another one. The owners were online, but it was doable. So, we thought of giving it a try. Big risk; big fun.
With the guy looking at us, one dumb of us decided to go down, and he got killed by another group. The base raid halted, we all went down because that dumb teammate had the RPG (rocket launcher) on him. Nice isn't it?
They had a small base, we live raided them using charges and detonator. It was easy because they had just joined the server. So, they did not had special weapons on them or greater skills. All this because the rpg guy thought of playing the "hero".
After this, I just went back to my base to store the loot.
So this is my new simple room. Nothing special. While, I was storing loot, my teammate were looting the military. They heard a charge explosion, went for it and the intense PvP started.
They were just beneath us, and we had taken over the high ground. For sometime, it was an ever 4v4 fight; however, we outsmarted them pretty easily. All thanks to the high ground base. They were in open, yet they were really good with pvp. Even with the advantage, we fought for more than an hour. After that, they went somewhere else and another team had come for us. My reputation had boosted quite well.
Next ahead, it was getting late. So we went, again, for the giagantic base. Only two of the opponents were playing, so it was going to be easy now.
Just chilling while my teammates were crafting charges and rockets.
Let the fun begin. We crafted a car, placed plates on it and went near to the base.
Inside view of the base. Problem were the sentries. There were tons of those hostile creatures. So, we could not just jump inside. Fun part? As soon as we started to raid them, they got online. We knew we were cooked, but still went for it.
The rocket's impact killed three of them, but it was a tpa server and they had beds. So, they came back instantly. We holded our position for a bit, but then got killed. We just had no idea about their base's structure. They salvaged few walls and came for us altogether.
I picked up the gun and legendary katana, But, they had destroyed the only bed as well. So, we were just cooked. Now, for our ego, we started to craft more charges and rockets.
Alas! We got kicked out of the server. Reason? Because, we raided one of admin's friend. GREAT!
So, this is the end of a beautiful journey. We might play our childhood game again after a year or two. But soon is not in the dictionary right now.
