Hola, espero estén teniendo un lindo día. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el último maquillaje que hice, el cual fue bastante aleatorio en cuanto a los elementos y colores que lo componen. Esta idea se me ocurrió hace un par de semanas, mientras me planteaba un escenario hipotético y luego de considerar varias alternativas, hice un boceto digital usando como base una de mis fotos. Escogí esta debido a la pose, la cual me permitió plasmar sin problema alguno, todas y cada una de las formas. Por si se lo preguntan, usé Sketch Draw & Paint (una app que tengo en mi dispositivo Android) para realizar el boceto.
Hi, I hope you are having a nice day. Today I want to share with you the last makeup I did, which was quite random in terms of elements and colors that compose it. This idea came to me a couple of weeks ago, while I was thinking about a hypothetical scenario and after considering several alternatives, I made a digital sketch using one of my photos as a base. I chose this one because of the pose, which allowed me to capture without any problem, each and every one of the shapes. In case you are wondering, I used Sketch Draw & Paint (an app I have on my Android device) to make the sketch.
Una vez plasmé mi idea, me entretuve haciendo algunas otras cosas pero de igual forma, estuve pendiente de elegir un buen momento para realizar este maquillaje. Últimamente la energía eléctrica ha fallado bastante y esa es una de las razones por las que me he cohibido un poco, al momento de crear contenido. Tambien necesitaba hacer unos cuantos cambios en mi área de trabajo, la cual terminé de arreglar hace poco y quedó bastante bien, la puse a prueba el día que hice este maquillaje y quedé muy complacida con el resultado, ahora es bastante más cómodo y práctico. Tengo pensado compartir con ustedes todos estos cambios, tomé algunas fotos del proceso y considero que puede serles de utilidad pero eso ya será en otra ocasión.
Once I got my idea down, I got busy doing a few other things but still, I kept an eye out for a good time to do this makeover. Lately the electric power has failed a lot and that's one of the reasons why I've been a bit self-conscious when creating content. I also needed to make a few changes to my work area, which I recently finished fixing up and it looked pretty good, I put it to the test the day I did this makeup and I was very pleased with the result, it is now much more comfortable and practical. I plan to share with you all these changes, I took some pictures of the process and I think it may be useful but that will be another time.
Volviendo al maquillaje, finalmente llegó el día en el que decidí arriesgarme y podrá sonar exagerado pero entre las fallas eléctricas, las modificaciones en mi área de trabajo y la cantidad de tiempo que llevaba sin maquillarme... Me resultaba desafiante. Más allá de ello, decidí intentarlo y afortunadamente no hubo problema con la energía eléctrica... Que era lo que más me preocupaba, a decir verdad. De igual forma, hubieron unas cuantas interrupciones en el proceso pero se lograron los objetivos.
Going back to makeup, finally the day came when I decided to take the risk and it may sound exaggerated but between the electrical failures, the modifications in my work area and the amount of time I had been without makeup... I found it challenging. However, I decided to give it a try and fortunately there was no problem with the power... Which was what I was most worried about, to tell you the truth. Still, there were a few interruptions in the process but the objectives were achieved.
En esta oportunidad intenté un contorno diferente, en función del tipo de rostro que creo tener... Sé que suena un tanto raro, pero es porque no estoy del todo segura y es a causa del resultado que les muestro el día de hoy. Hice el contorno y las iluminaciones que recomiendan para el rostro triangular o también conocido como A. Les cuento, cuando lo hice en crema todo bien... Me sorprendió y me gustó aunque me parecía raro, por no estar acostumbrada.
This time I tried a different contour, based on the type of face I think I have... I know it sounds a bit weird, but it's because I'm not entirely sure and it's because of the result I'm showing you today. I did the contour and highlights that they recommend for the triangular face or also known as A. I tell you, when I did it in cream everything was fine... I was surprised and I liked it even though it seemed weird, not being used to it.
Creo que el fallo estuvo en el contorno en polvo y es que aún no lo domino, no quedó tal cual... No me gustó tanto y me costó bastante. Igual es cuestión de investigar más al respecto y a su vez practicar, por supuesto. Lo único que no me encantó fue el contorno, los demás quedó bastante genial... No me quería quitar el maquillaje, se veía espectacular en persona y para no variar, en las fotos no se logran apreciar todos los detalles.
I think the flaw was in the powder contour and I still haven't mastered it, it didn't look as it was... I didn't like it that much and it cost me a lot. Maybe it's a matter of researching more about it and practicing, of course. The only thing I didn't love was the contour, the rest was pretty cool... I didn't want to take off my makeup, it looked spectacular in person and for a change, in the pictures you can't see all the details.
Otra de las cosas que me gustaría decirles, es sobre la base, la hice mucho más ligera y en persona la amé totalmente, sin embargo para las fotos hacía falta un poco más. Por último quiero mencionar lo mejor de todo y es que en este look usé mi paleta de bodypaint Athena, finalmente la estrené y me encantó, la pigmentación es increíble además le da un plus enorme al maquillaje... Por ello los colores se ven tan vibrantes y es que bien sea pre-base o pintura cremosa, sellada con una sombra del mismo tono, el resultado en cuanto a pigmentación es espectacular... Es una combinación infalible, así de simple.
Another thing I would like to tell you about the foundation, I made it much lighter and in person I absolutely loved it, however for the photos it needed a little more. Finally I want to mention the best of all and that is that in this look I used my Athena bodypaint palette, I finally released it and I loved it, the pigmentation is amazing plus it gives a huge plus to the make up... That's why the colors look so vibrant and is that either pre-base or creamy paint, sealed with a shadow of the same tone, the result in terms of pigmentation is spectacular... It's a foolproof combination, it's that simple.
La imagen principal y el vídeo con los pasos, los realicé en Canva. Como podrán notar, lo pasos no tiene mayor descripción porque son bastante repetitivos y constan de una formula bastante sencilla, la cual verán a lo largo de todo el maquillaje y es la siguiente, producto en crema, difuminar y sellar... Casi todo el maquillaje se reduce a eso y el resto, es muy fácil se entender sin necesidad de mayor explicación, es aplicar y difuminar.
I made the main image and the video with the steps in Canva. As you can see, the steps are quite repetitive and consist of a very simple formula, which you will see throughout the entire makeup and it is as follows, cream product, blend and seal... Almost all the makeup is reduced to that and the rest is very easy to understand without further explanation, is to apply and blend.
Lo único distinto que hice fue con las sombras y el Shadow Seal, los tonos que elegí al principio no me gustaron del todo, una vez los apliqué y dejé secar... Por esta razón, pasé sombra nuevamente para hacer un ligero cambio de color, con la intención de que se notara un poco más... Solo apliqué sombra de un tono más intenso encima y listo.
The only different thing I did was with the shadows and the Shadow Seal, the shades I chose at the beginning I didn't like at all, once I applied them and let them dry... For this reason, I applied shadow again to make a slight color change, with the intention that it would be a little more noticeable... I just applied a more intense shade of shadow on top and that was it.
