Do you guys like Ribero del Duero?
Here in Spain this Moralinos is a nice drinkable daily meal wine for no money and availabale in the supermarket. I'm not a huge Spanish wine fan (I like more French wines), but this is one of the exceptions :-)
Don't expect a great wine but you can't ask that for this price...
Hello friend, this post would be so much better, if you had given a bit more information, like how much, your experience taking the wine, and so on.
I also don't know if sportcity is an appropriate tag for this post
Hi @b0s,
I want to start to thank you for commenting, really appreciate it during my learning process here on Hive.
I've got the feeling people need a lot of explanations about a simple wine-picture... How much isn't important at all, I just wanted to say, if you buy a Spanish wine in Spain, it's not expansive compared to other wines in Spain.
When is a tag appropriate? When it's appropriate for yourself? When it is for other users? Or when it serves a certain goal?
Since this is a decentralised platform I would say all answers are correct but not necessarily all at the same time...
hi @svanbo :-) welcome to Hive! :-) thank you for sharing that you can get really drinkable Spanish wine for a low price in Spain. I'll certainly look out for it when I get there on holiday one day :-) However, I have to agree with the other comments. Hive is a blogging platform and whilst it is true that you can post about anything that you want to post about as it is decentralised and you own your account, if the aim is for people to read your posts and want to come back for more, then they will be looking to make a connection with you and what you have to say. Perhaps look to connect more with your intended audience through the provision of some backstory to the wine... and I mean no disrespect here purely some advice on establishing a following that can relate to you and vice versa 😍 So some ideas might be: why did you buy it? for a special occasion? End of the week chill time? Who did you share it with? What did it taste like? What specific wine could you compare it to? I would have loved to have heard more about that and ...it would provide an opportunity for connection. Please don't be disheartened by the comments; we are all here to help you to make a successful start on Hive🙂As for the tags... some communities take great exception to their tags being used incorrectly as they see it as tag spamming (an effort to earn tokens when one is not meeting the requirements/guidelines set by that community). People are just looking out for you. Before using a tag, I would suggest going to the community homepage of that tag and finding out more about its allowed usage etc. We have all been caught out using the wrong tags when we first came to Hive so you are not alone in this lol. Now... maybe if you had shared a backstory about a game of football that you were watching on the telly with your mates on Saturday afternoon and had included that you had bought this el cheapo bottle of wine to chill out with and had been pleasantly surprised with how nice it tasted for the price, then the sport tags may have been ok... I don't know as I haven't read the requirements of that community... but just trying to give some guidance. Hit me up if you have any questions about Hive and I will try to help you to get them answered. In fact, I am almost certain that the other commenters on here would do the same for you as I engage with them regularly too. Lastly, once again welcome to the blockchain and I look forward to reading more articles from you in the future. The best advice I can give you: write about what matters to you, what you are passionate about, be true to yourself. It will shine through in your writing and you will make many friends here on the platform. Good luck.
Hi @samsmith1971 Thank you so much for these kind lines.
I truly didn't see it as a blogging platform but will take into consideration to make longer posts. I thought however, that my starting post was meant to be the starting and returning point. There is written what I like and sports and wine are main subjects for me. Sport City is my own community and since there don't seem to be a lot people posting about (doing) sports on hive, I wanted to awaken curiosity and motivation to people that were initially not planning to post somehting about theirselves doing sports...
Maybe it's a bit far sought though and I should separate these 2 passions of mine?...
Hivians are not looking to one's starting / presentation post and every post is one on its own?
Thanks again for taking so much time to help and comment!
You are very welcome @svanbo 🙏Hopefully I'll see you around on the blockchain :-)
You could way better than just the price of the wine, how about tell us a story regarding the wine and even sharing the importance of wine for humans... It would be more interesting to read.
We're all here to learn though, I hope you learn and grow on Hive... Got here through @dreemport
Dear @merit.ahama,
Thank you to take the time to share your opinion! there's not muhc of a story to tell about a day to day wine, just but liking to drink it. I'll think through however how I can make the posts more interesting. I wasn't aware about the educational purposes a post needed to serve in this group. I've seen jewels (gems) here but a lot of posts with no comments at all, just like on Facebook and Instagram...
It's fine, I understand
You can always learn how give works and how amazing it is then be part of it in sharing better posts, we're always here to read from it so long we come across it.
All the best friend
Hello @svanbo. I agree with the other commenters that your post about this wine could be really nice is you shared a bit more information. When you say this about the win:
Are you saying it was FREE? This is one item that could be clarified.
Also, does the photo of the wine belong to you? Then you need to clarify this also. If not, then include the source of the image (if not the supermarket, etc.).
Thanks for sharing.
Read through @dreemport
@justclickindiva we say for (almost) no money when it's "really not expensive". This is more a comparison to other wines than an absolute number since both wine prices and income are different from country to country. That's the main reason I haven't mentioned the price: The absolute price also doesn't matter.
I read everywhere on Hive that one should only use his own pictures. Otherwise obviously one should mention the source. Yes, it's the bottle that I just emptied before to make the picture at my place.
Hello. I understand the terminology now that you used. I appreciate your explanation for the image for the bottle of wine.
