How are you all? I hope you are all well because I am too. Meet me again, I will tell you my story about my journey to find and visit good cafes or restaurants with delicious food and coffee.
This time I'm going to buy a cup of coffee, but not at a cafe or coffee shop. Because this time I bought coffee at the Bazaar in Medan's Centerpoint Mall. There are several food and drink options to try, but I've been wanting to try one of the well-known coffee brands for quite some time, namely Gentle Monkey.
Gentle Monkey, that's a cute and sweet name. Actually, there's a shop, but it's quite far from my house, so I've never been to the cafe. But since it was at the bazaar, I bought it.
This time I will discuss one of their menu, Cloud Chiffon, this is their new special menu. 'Taste the OG Indonesian dessert in a cup, cloudy like chiffon with a hint of pandan' is what it says on this menu. This drink is a blend of shaken pandan milk with a smooth chiffon-like cream with homemade kaya.
A delicious drink, the cream tastes soft and sweet, the coffee is bitter, not sour, the type of coffee I like. And what is special about this drink is because this drink is added with pandan, not only milk with added pandan flavor but also there are pandan leaves put into the cup, very unique.
This is my first time drinking pandan-flavored coffee, and it's delicious. The aroma of pandan and coffee is equally strong, but I like it. The combination of sweet, bitter, creamy, and fragrant is delicious, a unique taste.
And aside from the coffee flavor that I like, I also like the cup, made of styrofoam? I don't know for sure, but it's very comfortable to hold, and also the unique design with beautiful colors.
