Good Monday to all needlewomen ! I hope you are doing well despite the difficult times in which we are all now living.
I love embroidery and learned it when I was a teenager. But I have always embroidered satin stitch technique. I didn't like cross stitching. A year ago, a friend of mine gave me a small cross stitch kit. I put it in the closet and completely forgot about it. I stumbled upon this the other day.

As you can see, this embroidery is quite small. That friend of mine is cross-stitching very beautiful large paintings. Probably someone gave her this set, but it's not her size at all 😁
I don't know why she decided to give it to me. Most likely she remembered that I love embroidery and brought it. The house is very cute. I thought I could try to embroider it and then sew it into my pocket on some blouse.

There is such a frame in the kit here. To be honest, I do not know why this is needed and what to do with it. 😮

Maybe it serves as a frame for a picture? ☺️ I found the embroidery pattern here. But it's so drawn that I need a large magnifying glass to see anything there. 😂

These threads are also part of the set. There are very few of them.

I want to embroider something brighter with a cross, so I decided to get my own embroidery thread.

Oh, girls, I haven't embroidered anything for so long. I really love these threads of mine and I was very happy that I got them. 😄
So, here is my new challenge that I have set for myself.

I wish you a pleasant new week!
Yay! 🤗
