I want to show you one more jacket that I knitted for a year of quarantine.
I had an old yellow short hooded sweater that was already completely out of shape. I decided to unravel it into threads. I also had balls of white and green yarn (very little green). So I got the idea to combine them in one piece.
I'm happy with what I did. Very comfortably! Our temperature dropped: today it was 24 degrees Celsius. So I could wear this jacket for you.
The sleeves are a little long, but that doesn't bother me.
To decorate the jacket a little, I decided to sew on a little different beads. Just a little bit on the front neckline:
A few more beads on the yellow stripes on the chest:
I also added some colorful beads to the sleeves. It turned out very gentle and not at all striking:
I am very pleased with this jacket. I managed to wear it very rarely, since this whole year we have been working from home due to quarantine.

This is looks like 5gg or 7gg cardigan, do you feel it is light weight ?
last year I knitted two sweaters. the first jacket is heavy because the yarn is thick. and this second compared to the first one is easy 🙂

Wow!!! How do you manage to make something so lovely only with scrap yarn? I am sure if I would try this I’ll end with two different looking sleeves and perhaps not enough yarn to complete the jacket :-DDD You did so well to combine colors and the tiny pearls pick up on this color scheme perfectly - in my eyes the pearls give the jacket a light/ cheery vibe.
