This video discusses a recent article where Alex Kruger forecast 500 million more people buying into cryptocurrency by 2030.
To me, this shows a typical lack of understanding of what cryptocurrency truly is and how it is going to fit into the traditonal financial system (it isn't). This misunderstanding is why we are going to see the underestimating of the impact of this.

Kruger's prediction is based on a number of factors, but ultimately it comes down to the belief that cryptocurrency is here to stay and that its popularity will continue to grow in the years to come. Only time will tell if Kruger is correct, but his forecast provides an interesting perspective on the future of cryptocurrency.
