Dramatic skies

Another post back on the Harbor Walk here in New Bedford, a place i often visit for my morning walks, I try to get to other spots a couple of times a week at least, but this spot is great when I have bene a bit slack with getting my steps in for a couple of days and thing the weather is such that the sunrise may not be that much and to instead focus on getting my steps in.
of course with Mother nature one can never be sure and when the light came out a bit I noticed some nice dramatic clouds and got a few shots which I will share in this post

On this particular morning the sunrise was barely visible at all, so I was focusing on my walking, but then a while after sunrise the sun started peaking out through the clouds which had a cool dramatic feel. I think this first shot does it best justice

I was debating between that shot and this next shot for the first shot in this post, let me know which one you prefer

This was earlier that morning, where the sun was rising there was many clouds and no sign of it at all ( thats off to the right in this shot) but for a very brief minute some colors popped up in this direction, these colors literally only last for perhaps at max 3 minutes

It was almost funny to see at this stage, these subtle colors in this direction and where the sun was rising it was kind of dark and moody ( off to the right again in this shot

And then the sun broke out through the clouds, this shot is about the same time as the first two shots

So a morning i thought I would not take many shots I got enough for this post, and also got in a good amount of steps so was a great start to the day

We have had some rain today, but when I rode home after work the sun was shining again and it is still nice outside. A lot of work is on my desk after one week off, but that way the day goes much faster :)))

I used to love when my workload was high it did indeed make the days go faster

That's completely true, but I'd love to have some time inbetween for other things - for more important things like the Hive 🤣

My last couple of years I had plenty of time for Hive but a few years before that for most of my career I would never have had time for it

I'll just take my time in the mornings when nobody else is here and there are always a few minutes in between. I can't log in to FB on my computer at work but because the Hive is unknown, they haven't restricted it yet 😉

Morning @tattootdjay, you have a real treasure pot with Harbor Walk in New Bedford. I love how the early morning sun changes so quickly and how different each sunrise is with cloud and light. I am more into sunsets but need to get up more to see more sunsets.

My favorite one of today HAS to be the one with that gorgeous pink horizon splash hehehehe - the third photo I think

Its just like an entrance to a secret world hehehe

I love all of them though - there is something so moving about the sky over the water. it just calls to me!!!

Its as if the sun has to fight through the clouds to win this race. But its a matter fo minutes before thge sun comes out in all its glory.
