Shadows in Hazelwood Park

Shadows in Hazelwood Park

Another post that is related to last weeks Wednesday walk in Hazelwood park here in New Bedford and how I mentioned that taking a walk during the daylight hours gives me a lot more options for the type of photos I can take, including of shadows which is the theme for todays post.

I know there is a challenge Show me a Shadow #SMASH but I think they have weekly themes and not sure what this weeks theme for that is so just random shadows I saw and not an entry for that contest.

Starting with this bench and its shadow

And another bench and its shadow I thought this one looked better in Mono

Do you prefer the earlier Bench in color or this one in mono?

Funnily enough this last shot is one I saw early on in my walk and I thought at the time was cool and inspired me to look for more shadows, its actually the shadow of one of the tables and benches in the park that caught my eye, but when seeing it one my computer I didn't really like it but since it inspired this post I decided t share it anyway

Awesome shots. Those first shadow ones remind me of our deck the other weekend. The sun hit the rails just right that it only melted some of the snow on the deck. There was a perfect pattern of the railing made out in snow on the base of the deck. It was really cool. I didn't get a shot of it though.

thanks
have a great day

I like to color bench. Interesting how different the mono shot looks. It really emphasizes the rough paint and makes the bench look much older. And no I didn't guess birdhouse 🙁

its quite interesting how converting many shots can totally change the mood and feel of it isnt it

All after photographs looking very beautiful but in my eyes 4th and 6th photographs are the best among those photographs. Sometimes like and white photographs are more beautiful than colourful photographs and I think both of them belongs to that category..

thanks i really appreciate your feedback and support

have a great day

Oh cool shadows. I find noticing shadows on a sunny day is quite addictive. These are great.

thanks and yes when I get out for daytime walks i will be watching for more of them

have a great day

I have no idea what it is the shadow on the tree until you said it is a bird house :( At first I guess it might be some signs in the park but then I don't see it connect to anything

to be honest I noticed the shadow first and also wasnt sure till I looked up and saw the bird house :)

Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
