Hola hermosa comunidad, en esta ocasión quiero reflexionar sobre el cáncer de cuello uterino, enfermedad que afecta a un gran número de mujeres de la población mundial y he decidido hacerlo porque hace poco me entere de una amiga muy cercana (mi estilista de muchos años y también maestra) que fue diagnostica hace poco con Carcinoma de cuello uterino tipo III.
Aquella noticia escalofrió toda mi piel y sentí un nudo en la garganta que no me he podido quitar, no me quiero ni imaginar cómo se siente mi amiga, pero sé que la está pasando mal. Esta enfermedad llego para desgarrar a muchos, sembrar miedo, zozobra y ansiedad, pero también llego para abrirnos los ojos y hacernos reaccionar ante esta terrible enfermedad.

Hablando un poco de mi amiga , ella tenía más de 10 años sin hacerse una citología cervicovaginal, según ella nunca se sintió mal y por eso nunca se chequeo, era una mujer muy activa sana y trabajadora , además veía las consultas ginecólogas como un gasto innecesario y una pérdida de tiempo. También me contó que cuando le exigían en el colegio de su hija, la citología cervicovaginal nunca la llevaba y siempre daba excusas, además ella es de las personas que piensan que si tienes una enfermedad es mejor no saber y más con la situación mundial, por eso pospuso tanto tiempo su chequeo médico.
Mi amiga paso mucho tiempo sin hacerse una citología, hasta que un día se sintió realmente mal ¡Que gran error, esperar tanto tiempo! . Hoy en día ella también lamenta no haberse hecho un chequeo de rutina, pero ya es muy tarde y no podemos volver atrás, ahora su Cáncer es tipo III y sus posibilidades de sobrevivir a esta enfermedad no son muy altas , porque el cáncer se le ha diseminado a otras áreas.

Así como ella, muchas mujeres piensan que no es necesario hacerse un chequeo anual, porque se sienten bien y posponen muchas veces una consulta, por no tener dinero, por no tener tiempo. Hay quienes piensan que este proceso duele mucho y realmente a algunas nos duele más que a otras, pero eso no es motivo para evitar un chequeo anual. Es más triste y doloroso tener una enfermedad que va abarcando cada vez más, sin que nosotras nos demos cuenta.
Si realmente amamos nuestra vida, es mejor un diagnostico a tiempo, esto sirve de gran ayuda para poder actuar contra la enfermedad, que esto sirva como reflexión para mis amadas mujeres de la comunidad de hive, si tiene más de un año sin hacerse una citología cervicovaginal ,por favor no lo posponga más , tu vida vale mucho.
