I went to Ancaster Ontario to check three abandoned houses that I had saved. The first one was demolished, the second was sealed up tight and the third had been renovated and is now up for sale. I thought well this was a failed adventure, but was not ready to give up! I started walking down a very busy road and very quickly spotted a driveway that was very overgrown. As I got closer I could see garbage in the yard and that the house had a very heavily damaged roof. I approached and quickly became very happy!
Built in 1970, this house was lived in by a reclusive animator who worked for companies like Disney and Hannah Barbara. He passed away in 2018 and it appears that some work had begun on the house after that, but was stopped. Leaving most of the original features intact. The house has not been put up for sale or been sold after his passing and is sitting in limbo.
