ETH is going to be a big player when it comes to RWAs and big corporation operations with smart contracts. ETH has the infrastructure to deal with it. The layer 2's like BASE and Arbitrum can help, but you have to remember, all of that is a second layer, not a layer 1 chain. I agree that if companies would do their own thing, it would be a second layer onto Ethereum like BASE has done. So everything is basically based on ETH at least as a security layer.
There aren't many layer 1's that are being looked at to do this sort of thing, at least by any major Wall Street level players. Solana is going to be one that will be tapped next, but ETH is going to be the bigger player, in my opinion from my own extensive research on the subject. I have seen one company setting up a BNB treasury, but not much other than just an announcement article. I know they are making efforts to lower their fees more, but the big money is going to be going with ETH, or already are. I am looking at these things pretty heavy because my options account is pretty heavy into crypto based stocks because they make great options premiums.
