I purchased 50 Legendary, ~500 Rare, and ~50 Epic packs.
I also bought enough raffle tickets to evolve my hydra to the max level.
I am going to need to open more packs (likely just legendary packs) to get the last few legendaries so I have one of every card and earn the Demigod board. I believe this will be the most expensive tradable asset outside of diamond cards and mythic cards.
What I ended up with after spending 13.4 ETH on cards:
I do plan on doing some live streams playing with the new cards.

There is a lot more strategy involved. It is more like Hearthstone.
I tried it once for a like 15 mins. The UI was a bit complex to me. Looks like I have to give some time to it.

Many are getting into it just for speculation and not gameplay. That's what I did with Steem Monsters, but I play this one.

They were deducting tokens for tossing a match too early when people could earn them if I'm not mistaken.
I don’t think many in the long run will have the max out hydra and depending on what it does that could be a nice ROI. People where guessing around 100 or so players would have a max one based on just the numbers. Who knows how many more will buy to have enough.
