RE: THE STORY OF CHEITO (En - Es)

in Hive Pets5 days ago

First, thank you for starting your post with words that will be a happy ending because I was so emotional after I began reading. Every time I see stories like this, it’s hard for me not to cry… how can people be so cruel and just leave a dog they hit with a car and drive away?! I’d rather not tell you what I’d do to those people… how can someone be so heartless?! I mean, yes, I understand it can happen if a dog jumps into the street and the driver couldn't react quickly enough… but that you don't stop to help?! 😔 But then there are people like you who will do anything for animals regardless of the circumstances… I can only say thank you for being a person with such a big heart! Many people don’t know what it means to have a dog… how grateful they are, how much happiness they bring into our lives… My baby girl died a month ago, and it hurts so much… she was part of my life for 13 years, and she meant so much to me… she was my protector, my savior during the hardest moments… there is no more barking when I come home, no more laughter when she was sure she’d catch a bird if she ran fast enough and then angrily barked because she couldn't succeed… dogs fill our lives, and I will never understand people who have dogs and don't take care of them, locking them in a box… so once again, thanks to you and your community, I still have hope in humans ❤️❤️

Hi, honey.
Yes, I thought about that at the beginning, telling them that the story had a happy ending so they would know that, despite Cheito's difficulties, he was back home.
I feel the same way. It breaks my heart to see so many dogs run over and abandoned to their fate in the foundations' daily reports.
It's true that sometimes it's difficult to avoid them if they innocently run out into the street, so stop and help them, you can't be so cruel in life.
I've had to say goodbye to many, most of them old, I don't want to suffer that anymore, but my instinct tells me that as long as I can give them a home, the doors of my house and my heart are open to them.
Thank you for this beautiful comment. I am also happy to see that every day more angels are joining this cause. Hugs! ☺️🙏🏻🌷
