Hello Steemians & welcome to Tarot Tuesday! Last week a handful of wicked talented readers joined me on the #tarottuesday hash tag. This week we've come together and formed the @steemittarot community! We're a (magical) work in progress, but for the moment -

Happy Tarot Tuesday!, Steemians! I started doing these readings monthly over on my WordPress blog back in 2015. A year later, they'd become so popular I decided to make them a weekly feature. For the month of January, I'm posting them here on Steemit first (between 7am and 7:45am, depending on when the coffee kicks in - LOL!), then at 8am on my WordPress blog.
For those wondering, I use my Universal Waite Smith Tarot Deck to draw the cards, but since it's so well loved (I've owned it for a bazillion years), I then substitute my Radiant Deck for the photographs. And for the record, I take a new picture of the card backs every week - first, I do the cards face up, then flip them over and take a snap of the back. I add the numbers and such with Canva, and use the current picture of the backs to create the blog graphic.
Also, while it probably doesn’t need to be said, I’m saying it anyway – this is for fun, and my messages should never be a substitute for your own good judgement and common sense. In fact, that applies to most things in life – if your gut tells you it’s not right, always listen.

1. Ten of Wands
The Burden. This card tends to show up for me when I’ve gotten caught in, “Fine, I'll do it myself” mode. You know, when you think you need to do absolutely everything yourself, because no one else can do it the right way? And what happens when you do everything yourself? Yep, you get exhausted. All your creative juices are drying up. It’s time to put down the burden, and let someone else carry it for a while – even small, simple things, once delegated, will help you regain your spark. As the saying goes, "a burden shared is a burden halved."
2. Seven of Cups
Decisions, decisions. You know the saying, "Careful what you wish for - you might get it?" After wishing you had more options, suddenly you have a ton to choose from. Now is not the time to be dazzled by the display - instead, take some time to carefully consider the practicalities involved, and pick based on reality, not wishful thinking. This card also shows up for me as a reminder to stop dreaming, and start doing - or, in the immortal words of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, "Don't dream it, be it."
3. King of Wands
Take Charge Time. You have the intelligence, you have the determination. Now point that wand in the direction you want to go, and don’t even think about wavering from your path until you get to your destination. See that itty bitty little salamander in the bottom right corner of the card? Think of it as a baby dragon (since salamanders are associated with fire), who just needs encouragement and direction, and soon it will be a fiercesome force to be reckoned with, and you will be as formidable as the Mother of Dragons.

Very interesting! I was drawn more to 3 than 2, but was still drawn to 2. Oddly enough, 7 is my favorite number. I was born on the 7th. Both cards are VERY related to what's going on in my life. Way to go!
7 is a very good number to have as a favorite (says the person born in the seventh month - LOL). And many people pick multiple cards, so it makes sense both worked for you. Thanks so much for stopping in!

Interesting! I've been thinking of doing card reading entries on Tuesdays. In my card system, Tuesdays are my Uranus day - that planet being the planet of psychic experiences and the metaphysical.
Does one have to be a reader who exclusively use Tarot or is it fine to post using other card reading methods?
Coolness! Any deck works for Tarot Tuesday, and at the moment we have a mix of free readings, and informational posts about card interpretations. I plan to have an introductory post written for next week, but in the meantime, I've followed you on the @steemittarot account, and I'll check your blog next week. 😊

No worries! Even though I've been reading cards for a billion years, and I've done public readings, I've still never done any readings for money. I'm still too nervous to make that leap - LOL!

I got the king of wands but I'm not big on achieving things by determination so not sure how it would apply to me.
Maybe the message is an affirmation that you're heading in the right direction, and you just need to believe in yourself and not give up until you've reached your goal?

Didn't get back to your blog until today 27/1, been busy beating the heat. Another scorcher today, but by the river I've a nice breeze. 7cups. Well. The last three days have all been decisions. In and amongst the responsibilities and dealing with other people's emotions, I've had a clear three way choice. I asked a mate, and he said sensible things, but my choice, so I put it to the Universe. One choice immediately returned a negative, and the negative choice didn't show up in signs, leaving me with the third neutral, to do. So, I'm happy, -keeping the faith 😑
