Yes, yes it is!
However, just so I didn't get TOO excited about the weather, Mother Nature was kind enough to keep things cool outside - like, 37F/3C with some nice frellin' arctic blasts of wind breezes while I was taking these shots. Still - there's absotively posolutely no snow or sleet anywhere in sight, so I'll take it!
These shots were all taken in my Durham, NH yard between 7:30 and 9am (and to be fair, I wasn't outside for all of them...stupid wind chased me back inside a few times), and are pretty much in the order I took them.

Got a couple of short clips too - apologies for the swaying & shaking. Even with a tripod, I have a hard time keeping the camera still for more than a second or two at a time. pout

Today here in the UK too, the spring sun is finally poking playful marmalade fingers through the little puffy clouds and there is a warm breeze hugging all who venture out :)

Thanks, @melinda010100! If it makes you feel any better, I'm trying to ignore all the clouds that moved in a short time after my photo session. While we won't get any this far south in NH, the weather man said the S word for some spots today! Ugh!
And yes, the reds are just light enough that they can maneuver seeds out. Hard to be mad though, when I can see that the squirrel is a momma!
ohhh what a lovely blog post... the photos, woodpecker videos and the squirrel, and the crow... It's a beautiful day with all the happy animals. Winter is over. Life goes on. I always wonder where they all are during the hard winter.
