Tarot Tuesday Reading for September 18th 2018

in #tarottuesday6 years ago

Hey all! Before I get to the Tarot Tuesday stuff, I wanted to shout out quickly about my relative online silence. Part of the reason is my main computer rig crashed at the end of August. Luckily, it looks like I didn't lose anything as far as documents or photographs. However, getting everything back up to speed has been a time consuming, to say the least!

I've also spent some time researching (and adjusting to) my Essential Tremor/Fibromyalgia diagnosis. I'm hoping to resume my usual posting-sharing-tweeting-resteeming-liking-chatting duties soon, but thought I should say something (especially after I noticed a few people unfriended me, no doubt because of my lack of interaction).

At any rate, now onto the Tarot Tuesday Reading for the week of September 18th 2018. This is how the reading works - pick a card from the photo below that you are drawn to. If more than one speaks to you, then pick that one also. Some people even say they pick all three cards each week, and use this as a past/present/future reading.

After you've decided on your card(s), scroll down the page for the card reveal and message for the upcoming week.

Here are the cards -

And to make sure you don't accidentally see the card faces before you've made your choice, I'm putting in a picture as a spacer/spoiler prevention. This is one of the bazillion infographics I've created over the years, and comes from a post I did back in October 2017.

Never too old to write - Gilbert Quote

Now it's time for your message. Here are the card faces...

September 18th 2018 Tarot Tuesday

...and the messages are as follows.

1. Seven of Cups

Decisions, decisions. You know the saying, "Careful what you wish for - you might get it?" After wishing you had more options, suddenly you have a ton to choose from. Now is not the time to be dazzled by the display - instead, take some time to carefully consider the practicalities involved, and pick based on reality, not wishful thinking. This card also shows up for me as a reminder to stop dreaming, and start doing - or, in the immortal words of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, "Don't dream it, be it."

2. Queen of Wands

Time for center stage. You have a special talent. Now it’s time to celebrate it! Get that spotlight ready, and show the world what you have to offer. Stop imagining what it would be like to create that petition, write that book, or take that personal leap of faith – do it! Because when you, "Take your passion, and make it happen, pictures come alive, you can dance right through your life."

3. The Sun

Bask in the rays! It's that glorious moment when Dorothy opens the door and steps into Oz for the first time. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and you can see the path before you (not to mention, the wicked witch hasn't shown up yet with her downer, shoe stealing vibes). Enjoy this moment to the fullest, and maybe even to spread the rays of sunshine to the people around you with a random act of kindness or two. It's the time to say, "goodbye to my weakness/ so long to the regret/ and now I see the world through diamond eyes!"

Extra Tarot tidbit: The last time I drew The Sun, it was also in the #3 spot, back on June 12th, 2018. I'm not sure if that's something significant to someone, but thought I'd say something anyway, just in case.

I hope your message resonated. If not, maybe reread your message towards the end of the week, and see if the meaning becomes clear then. Also, you're welcome to shout out in the comment section, and most definitely welcome to share this link around.

I'm glad that you updated us on what you've been up to recently. I get concerned when I don't see you posting! I hope that we can get together before we leave. Sunny's?

Q of Wands today. A great positive reading!

Hugs!

Thanks, Roger! Yeah, the past few weeks have been challenging, to say the least. How many days until you pull up stakes and head south?

Right now things are day to day with us. We are still waiting for someone to come out and fix our awning. The campground closes next Sunday, but they will let us stay for a few extra days if we need to.

Ugh, what a pain! I'll check with Jim, then check back with you mid week to see if you're still around, and maybe we can have a farewell breakfast at Sunny's on Friday. I can't believe summer is already over! 😮

That would be great! I'm thinking that if we can't leave by Wednesday we'll stay to next Monday. I know this summer did go fast! The weather wasn't as good as last year so we didn't get to do as much as we would have liked.

How have you been feeling? I hope that you are doing better!

Coolness! Definitely maybe pencil in breakfast on Friday, depending on how things go... lol!

It's been up and down with me over the past month, and the current topsy-turvy weather (like the almost 30 degree difference from last night to this morning!) isn't helping. However, I've found an amazing support group for Essential Tremor on Facebook, and that's helping a great deal with my mental outlook.

I'm already crossing my fingers that next summer will have better weather, and we can hang out more! 😊

Sending you lots of love Traci! Glad you didn't lose your data <333 :) and Thank you as always for this weekly gift. Bright Blessings!

Thank you, @thereikiforest! Yep, every time I start to grumble about having to re-download something, or re-customize something, I remind myself that it could've been MUCH worse! And you're very welcome - brightest of blessings to you! 💜

Oh @traciyork - so sorry about the computer - what a pain. Sorry, too, about the diagnosis, but I guess now that there is a diagnosis, you know what you're dealing with. Awful, nevertheless. I, too, have been MIA and need to get back into things. I have to say that nothing in today's reading resonates, but you never know! I chose Wands and I don't feel the least bit like I have a talent of any description, today! LOL. Welcome back and be well!

Definitely not a diagnosis I was hoping for, but I agree - at least now I know, and can form an attack plan accordingly...LOL! And in my experience, if you're feeling like you have any kind of talent (and I call shenanigans, Ms. Chef Extraordinaire ...LOL), the Queen appears to remind you that you do, and you need to own it. Bright blessings to you, dear lady!

Yes, @traciyork - attack and win! Well, you know what I mean! And funny I should read this reply today - had a very interesting afternoon, yesterday, and a group of us are gathering tomorrow to discuss collaboration - around our various talents. Could be interesting!

Peace, Love and Gratitude!
Let your way be the one with the attitude!

Sorry about your computer rig crashing. Looking forward to more posts. Cheers!

Thanks so much, @jeanwandimi! 😊
