A Fiery Sky by the Sea [Qurator's Photo Quest - Golden Hour]

Good morning, everyone!

Today the markets decided to burn and crash again... let's hope they don't burn as much as the sun, though. Speaking of sun, this photo was taken at the beach of Labruge, which is located near Vila do Conde.

The place is a bit inaccessible by public transportation. I mean, there are a few buses and the Metro station in the region but they're still a good 45 minutes walk from here.

This spot isn't complicated to reach by car but the roads are very narrow and many people end up banging or scratching their painting on the walls... 😆

I guess that's why this lovely beach is mostly empty, all the time. 🤭

This is my entry for the Qurator's Photo Quest, hosted by @qurator. This week's theme is Golden Hour. ⛅

I don't like when there's too many people at the beach, so I often go to this one, even if takes me a while to get there. 😉

What about you, do you have any hidden spot like this, where you love to go to?

Wow the beach less accessible is a clean beach and the beach with least access is the beautiful beach 😬
Good one sir 👍

Yes, you're right about that! No people... and no dirt! 😊

Looks like a nice place, even though you have to walk a lot, or drive.

It sure is... and there are a few big rocks all around, so there's hardly any wind at this place! 😉
Thanks for stopping by!

You're lucky to have a beach nearby.

There's lots of beaches here in our city. And to make sure there won't be that much people around, a weekday is the best day to go. Weekends are just horrendous.

Eheeheh! I can imagine! And how are the beaches with the corona situation?

All beaches were closed to the public during the quarantine period. Now that the restrictions have been relaxed they have opened again but in order to get to the beach resort there are procedures to be followed like booking in advance, securing a government pass allowing the person entrance, no changing of dates, no kids, no senior citizens, etc. Still difficult and I'd rather just stay home and wait for all these to pass, whenever that may be.

Very nice pic... All the success for this contest.

Thanks, I enter these contests for the fun, only! The prizes are secondary. 😀

The important thing is to participate... but always the fun of winning 😀

Wow this looks amazing so nice colours 😲 and then empty thats all you need ;)

Yep, an empty beach is my favourite kind of beach! 😂

Great sunset, thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for stopping by.

Only one word would be suitable to describe this scenery... Gorgeous! It's been so long since I've been to the beach, and I do miss that sea breeze and the soft sand beneath my toes, so much. Living in a hilly area, there's quite a few serene roads and paths around here that I love jogging around, just smelling the trees and nature around me...

Yes, it's a very beautiful town... and the water is very inviting. Usually rivers near the cities are so dirty but not here. The water looks very clean! 😉

Thanks a lot for your visit and comment.

Cheers, and keep on sharing your wonderful photos and stories :-D

Great shot! I always prefer a secluded beach to a touristy one. That's a neat place to unwind.

Yes, perfect to take a book and read it in silence! 🤗
