'G' is for...…….

Here is my #Alphabethunt entry for this weeks challenge organised by @barbara-orenya

GRAFFITI:

This is one of many fascinating graffiti images painted on brick walls in ACDC Lane in Melbourne, Australia.

Check out this talented Graffiti artist at work Here:

GUN POWDER:

You don't see barrels of gunpowder like this lying around these days do you? This interesting display is part of the décor on the Royal Caribbean ship, Radiance of the Seas.
But don't get me started on this subject because I'm in the mood for cruising...……...

Gun powder F.jpg

GUITAR:

You can probably tell that I have digitally manipulated an original guitar photo to create this florescent, funky look. I'm not sure how many male musos would go for hot pink but if I could play a decent tune on a guitar, this is the colour I'd chose.

FUNKY GUITAR 1 F.jpg

GARDEN:

From stimulating guitar vision to serene Japanese garden. I included this image for contrast and beauty...…..and because Garden starts with the letter 'G.' (lol)

GRAPE LEAVES.

I just can't help it. Ordinary green grape leaves got the digital treatment too. The textures and colours on this edit are rather pleasing in my opinion. What do you think?

GNOME:

And last but certainly not least. Here is @luigi-the-gnome's Australian companion. He's almost as cute as Luigi and he loves gardening...…...just one of the many things he has in common with Luigi.

In fact, he loves gardening so much that he asked me to send a message to all my friends on Hive. He says,

Don't forget to stop and smell the magnolias, or daisies, or roses or dandelions. It will do you the world of good.

THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.

Very good post @trudeehunter

Thank you for your visit and comment. Always appreciated!

Great selections @trudeehunter! My favorites besides all of them (lol) is the gnome and gunpowder. There used to be little cannons that looked like the one in your photo that actually shot. I still enjoy listening to a good AC/DC song and it was cool seeing that in the graffiti! 💖

Many thanks for your visit and wonderful comments @deerjay
It's interesting to hear peoples choices.

Most welcome @trudeehunter and I totally agree! 💕

Fantastic selection and i do remember your fascinating stories and posts about the cruise.
I love the gnome with its jolly face. 😀

Thank you dear Neli.

Hello Friend
I like the first one so much, so fun and colorful.
the leaves seem beautiful and romantic to me a great edition
happy Saturday

Hello my dear friend. Thanks so much for taking the time to view this post and share your thoughts. I hope all is well with you @txatxy

So, there's an AC/DC lane in Melbourne? That's cool and I love this Graffiti - it's so colorful and this happy guy made me smile 😉

That's another great #AlphabetHunt post from you, Trudee, and I think besides the music listener I like the Grape leaves most because of the cool and very nice editing you have done to the image 😊

Yes indeed Johann.

Here is some extra info re: ACDC Lane

ACDC Lane is named as a tribute to the famous Australian rock and roll band AC/DC and was given permission to do so by a unanimous vote of the Melbourne City Council. They actually started their career living and working in Melbourne.
To quote: "In the book AC/DC Maximum Rock & Roll, manager Michael Browning says: "If it hadn't been for Melbourne, AC/DC wouldn't have existed. There wasn't enough of a support system anywhere else in the country [p93].
The brothers Malcolm and Angus might have been born in Scotland but make no mistake, without Melbourne there would be no AC/DC."

The band has close ties Melbourne, so it was deemed only fitting that these legends of rock and roll were given a laneway in Melbourne. This area is situated in the bar and rock district of the city.

Thanks so much for your very welcome support. It is truly appreciated.

Thank you so much for this further information, Trudee. I like their music, but I have to admit that I didn't know much more about them or where they actually where from 😉

You're very welcome, @trudeehunter, I wish you a great weekend 🙂

What lovely and cheerful photos, Trudee! You found some nice graffiti, and that guitar is amazing! I love the bridge in the gardena and your digital art is always beautiful! I wish you a happy weekend, my friend! :-)

Thanks so much Keith. Glad you enjoyed this post. I am enjoying my weekend (thank you) and I hope yours is fantastic too.

Lovely edit on the guitar and grapes Trudee. I would love to have that gnome in my garden...once I get the garden spruced up.😁

Graffiti artists are amazing and cheer up the area with their art.

Thank you dear Jo. Your support is always very much appreciated.

Great @trudeehunter, all photos are sensational. I loved the graffiti, it is different from what I have seen. Regards.

Hello Isabel,
Lovely to meet you. Many thanks for your kind comments and visit. Much Appreciated.

Just noticed that this contest in your blog name go hand-in-hand. Just a random observation. The gunpowder is a fun picture, night garden looks like so much fun. Great entering.

Yes...….I should be good at Hunting with a surname like mine @dreaminirwin (lol) Thanks so much for visiting and sharing your appreciation. I'm very grateful.

Lovely choices for the 'G' theme @trudeehunter. Photos have a great way of bringing up memories.

Thank you Angie
Memories are so important and it is great to have the ability to take photos to preserve them.

It is a nice graffiti and the photo of the garden inspires a lot of peace.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit and share your appreciation @truelovemom

A lovely G selection of photos! I really love the grape leaves and the garden gnome is a jolly sort of fellow! He might be a cousin to @luigi-the-gnome. ❤️

Thank you Melinda. I have introduced my gnome to Luigi and it would appear that they have a lot in common. Luigi should check hi family tree as he just may have Aussie cousins living here. (lol)

Haha ! love your cheerful musical and funny selection @trudeehunter !
This gnome has the same tailor as Luigi, the suit is so alike indeed 😁

I didn't know there was an ACDC lane ! do you know why it has been named like that ? did the group give a concert there or the singer lives in the neighborhood..? 😄

Yes, it would appear that Gnome Garments are very similar around the world Barbara.
