They think I'm crazy, for sure, but is my believes are crazy or not, I can´t tell. I have one or two which I found people against to.
Creen que estoy loca, seguro, pero que mis creencias lo sean, no sabría decir. Tengo una o dos que sí me he encontrado gente en contra.
Children are smart enough to be responsable for their behavior
Most adults now seems to see children as "innocent angels" and they are not. Maybe people forget how they were like as children but I remember a was a liar, a good one, I understood adult jokes in familiar reunions, I just pretended I don't, see, I wasn't bad, but I wasn't an innocent angel and so are not the rest of children. There are certain things you have to always believe at first and after you search more, like a kid saying a person touched them in a non proper way, but you should never justify children bad behavior because "they are just kids, they don´t know what they are doing" because they know.
Los niños son lo suficientemente inteligentes para hacerse responsables de su comportamiento
La mayoría de los adultos ahora parece ver a los niños como "ángeles inocentes" y no lo son. Tal vez olvidan como fueron de niños pero yo recuerdo que era una mentirosa, una buena, y entendía las bromas de adultos en las reuniones familiares y fingía que no, no era mala, pero no era un ángel inocente y tampoco lo son el resto de los niños. Hay ciertas cosas en las que les debes creer primero y luego investigar, como si un niño dice que una persona lo ha tocado de manera indebida, lo que no debes hacer es justificar su mal comportamiento porque "son solo niños, no saben lo que hacen" lo saben.
College is not the way, not the only way
I'm graduated and now I can tell you: college isn't everything. Good for you if you got your degree and found a job related to it with a good salary, congratulations, but college is "superior education" superior, not everybody has to be superior and we don´t need everybody to be an engineer or a bachelor, we need so much more than that and if that way doesn't make you happy, go for other one, don´t stick to it because is a "most" in life. Maybe it was, but it's not now.
La universidad no es el camino, no es el único camino
Soy graduada e la universidad y ahora puedo decirles: no lo es todo. Bien por ti si obtuviste tu título, encontraste un trabajo relacionado a él con un buen salario, felicidades, pero la universidad es "educación superior" superior, no todo el mundo tiene que ser superior y no necesitamos que todo el mundo sea un ingeniero o licenciado, necesitamos mucho más que eso y si ese camino no te hace feliz, ve por otro, no te apegues a él solo porque es un deber en la vida. Tal vez lo fue antes, pero ya no lo es ahora.
